Starting from February 12th and up until February 19th, players of Sega’s free-to-play PS Vita game Samurai & Dragons can acquire a selection of exclusive Sakura Wars cards. However, even though the game has been localized into English, it was only released in Japan and certain Asian countries. The game is similar to the mobile game Kingdom Conquest (also from Sega), in the sense that it combines three different gameplay modes. One of those lets you control a character of a certain class directly where you fight various monsters in dungeons, another is a strategy mode where you build and manage your base, and the last one consists of a card battle mode where you fight against other players over territory.
While the news of Sakura Wars cards being added to a game that’s not even available in the US and the EU isn’t exactly all that relevant to us, it’s still rare to see an official English webpage from Sega featuring the Sakura Taisen series, so we thought it might be worth sharing the link. You can find the webpage for the exclusive promotion here.
