Gamespot have published a new video showing a stage demo of Project Diva F 2nd, and Sega’s Aaron Webber was there to tell people more about the game. And if you had any doubt that he really wants you to play this game, just watch the video. Aaron talked to the viewers directly, and asked people that only ever play the more well-known FPS games to broaden their horizons a bit and give games like Project Diva F 2nd a chance. Of course, that’s a message that we at Segalization can get behind!
Aaron also noted the upcoming Hatsune Miku concerts in Los Angeles (Oct. 11-12) and New York (Oct. 17-18) as part of the Hatsune Miku Expo 2014. For anyone interested, you can find more information and tickets on the official website for the expo.
Also interesting is that Aaron noted that the release of the first Project Diva F in the Western market almost didn’t happen. In fact, the Facebook campaign they launched last year was actually a last-ditch effort to convince the executives at Sega to release the game. Suffice to say the response was overwhelming. Aaron also explained how they listened to the many comments on the Sony blog where people asked for a physical version of the game (Project Diva F 2nd is in fact getting a physical release on both PS Vita and PS3). Near the end of video the reporter went on to ask about a US release for Yakuza 5, but unfortunately Aaron couldn’t comment on that. You can see the full video here:
