Sega announced that Project Diva F 2nd will be getting an English translation for the song lyrics, a feature that was often requested by fans ever since the first Project Diva F was localized and only had the lyrics available in romaji (the original Japanese lyrics written in Latin alphabet). There are plenty of people who play the Project Diva games but don’t know Japanese, so this feature not only allows them to understand the lyrics but it also adds much needed context to the music videos shown in the background during gameplay.
The fact that Sega are adding the translations now shows that they’ve been listening to the fans, and it also gives people one more reason to get the localized version of the game even if they already imported the original Japanese version. The English subtitles will be present in the build of the game in the Anime Expo in Los Angeles this weekend. Watch Sega’s video announcing the new feature below:
