Sony Japan’s Playstation Store website recently uploaded a product page for new Phantasy Star Nova-themed Vita and Vita TV’s (the latter known as the Playstation TV in the West.) The above-featured image is from the website promoting this hardware offer. Gematsu offers additional details on this collaboration.
These hardware pieces are limited edition offerings set to release on November 27th: the same day as Phantasy Star Nova. The Vita’s will come in black or white, and cost ¥20,980. The Vita TV, while only being offered in white, is offered in two forms; customers can either buy a bundle that includes a Dualshock 3 controller and 8BG memory card with the Vita TV for ¥16,280 (listed within the website as the Vita TV Value Pack,) or a standalone Vita TV for ¥11,480. The Vita and Vita TV’s will be decorated with goggle-wearing Rappies and a Phantasy Star Nova logo on one side of the console. Each of the three offerings will come with a product code to download a Vita system theme, a strap, and a message card from the Phantasy Star Nova development team. For anyone wondering, it must be noted that these special offerings do not come with the game itself.
Be sure to check out the product page here, especially if you want to see enlarged pictures of the hardware. It’s worth noting that the copyrights below the images are labelled with the year 2013. Perhaps these images were drafts, and the final product more or less resembles Sony’s drafts?
