Devil Survivor 2: Break Record Overview videos and Soundtrack Bonus

After a long delay from its original 2013 release, Atlus posted a new trailer of Devil Survivor 2: Break Record during the TGS, showing that development of the game is now running on schedule. Last Thursday, Atlus shared additional videos teasing the enhanced 3DS port on the official Japanese site.

Returning fans will be treated to a new story taking place after the events of the main game. In the first video, you can now hear major cutscenes are fully voiced.

Another video shows the Fate system, where building each character’s friendship will unlock new abilities. Advancing a character to the next rank for the first time will grant that character additional elemental resistances.

The last video is about the Devil Auction, where you can bid on demons that you can then fuse and use in battle.

Atlus has also announced they will be offering a bonus soundtrack “Shoji Meguro x Atlus Sound Team Arrange Sound track” for first print buyers. No word on what is included on the CD just yet.

Devil Survivor 2: Break Record for 3DS will be released on January 29th, 2015 in Japan. Atlus has yet to announce an English release for the game, but it’s likely that it will be one of the next games that Atlus USA will localize.
