Sega has released a new set of Christmas themed modules as part of their first batch of Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd DLC. Each of the six Vocaloids has a Christmas Costume Module priced at $1.99. If you want all six of them and you haven’t bought the $69.99 Costume Club DLC, don’t go buy them separately just yet. Sega is planning to add a new bundle that offers all six of the modules at a discounted price. Several new UI skins have also been added, those are available for free for the first 39 days after their release. At the time of writing this content isn’t available in the EU yet, but I assume it will be tomorrow. You can see the six different Christmas costumes in the gallery at the bottom of this post.
Sega is also planning to release a second batch of DLC on December 16. This includes the first DLC song, “Look This Way, Baby!” by ryo, and new loungewear-themed Costume Modules for the six characters.
What happened to ” If you want all six of them and you haven’t bought the $69.99 Costume Club DLC, don’t go buy them separately just yet. Sega is planning to add a new bundle that offers all six of the modules at a discounted price.” ???
Unfortunately these are only available for Europe at the moment (and actually, it seems the Christmas module has now disappeared there as well, apparently it’s been replaced by the bundle for the new costumes). I’m not sure what the problem is, they were definitely meant to be added for the US as well. There are a number of problems with the DLC on both the US and EU side at the moment and we’re not sure when they’ll be resolved.
Update: over at the Sega forums Clumsyorchid said the bundles will be made available on 1/6 for the US.
