Sega have shared the latest gameplay trailer and a shortened version of the opening movie for Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai Deluxe. The game is the sibling series to Project Diva exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS, which stars chibi Nendoroid versions of the Vocaloid cast and gameplay suited for the 3DS’s face buttons and touchscreen. Sega is bringing the game overseas as Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX, scheduled for release on May 26th in North America and May 29th in Europe.
While these videos are for the Japanese version of the game, Gematsu translated the details for the English audience. Deluxe contains 48 songs, customization options, a theater mode, game modes to compose dance routines and song phrases, and Player cards to share with others via StreetPass and SpotPass. Also thrown into the game are two minigames: a version of Puyo Puyo starring Miku and friends and a version of the classic board game Reversi (also known as Othello). You can watch the trailer below.
Meanwhile, the second video is a shortened version of the game’s opening movie.
