Famitsu shared the latest information about Project X Zone 2’s roster. Ryo Hazuki’s inclusion was no longer a secret when the Korean preview of the game leaked his appearance. Still, we are now able to take a look at artwork and screenshots of the Shenmue hero in action as a Solo Unit. Another Sega character reveal is Ranmaru from Sakura Wars V: So Long, My Love. The loyal attendant of Nobunaga Oda will be an enemy unit to fight. Finally, Garigliano from Resonance of Fate will be a NPC in the story. As you can see in the screenshot gallery at the bottom of the article, he will have an amusing conversation with Segata Sanshiro.
Capcom’s lineup of characters include Solo Unit Ingrid from Capcom Fighting Evolution and Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max, Enemy Unit M. Bison (AKA Vega depending on your preference!), Enemy Unit Black Hayato from Star Gladiator series, Enemy Unit Pyron from Darkstalkers, NPC Ada Wong from Resident Evil series and NPC Miles Edgeworth from Ace Attorney series.
Namco’s lineup of characters include Solo Unit Estelle from Tales of Vesperia, Xenosaga’s KOS-MOS joining up with Xenoblade Chronicles character Fiora as a Pair Unit, Enemy Unit T-elos from Xenosaga and NPC Tarosuke from Yokai Dochuki, possibly the most obscure character in the game thus far.
Nintendo characters are joining the roster this time around. While I already mentioned Fiora joining the game, other characters include the Pair Unit Chrom and Lucina from Fire Emblem Awakening, Enemy Unit Metal Face from Xenoblade Chronicles and NPC Tiki from Fire Emblem Awakening.
