Today (December 17th in Japan) marks the release date of Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax Ignition in Japan! This iteration of the series introduces Emi Yusa, Qwenthur Barbotage, Tatsuya Shiba, Kuroko Shirai, and Yuuki (on Christmas) as playable characters, while adding several new assist characters. The fighting system is also upgraded from the previous version and opens up new combo possibilities.
Dengeki Online has revealed more details around the DLC schedule for Yuuki and Len (an assist character.) Both will be made available for free starting on December 25 (Christmas present!) and ending on January 31st. The two DLC characters will still be available, but will then become paid DLC. This same Dengeki Online article shows off a promotional event for the game’s release, so check it out if you’d like to browse some photos of the event.
The product page and purchase option for Ignition is live on the Japanese Playstation Store. Here are the pages for the PS3, PS4, and Vita versions.
Haven’t seen Yuuki yet and want to know what she’ll play like? A recent livestream showed off the game for a little under two hours and she’s showcased in it. You can check out the YouTube archive here.
