SEGA has revealed more details about Hatsune Miku Project DIVA X on their official website, as well as new songs and modules that will be featured in the game. The opening movie will show Miku and her friends losing their song power, which is the starting point for the game’s quests to restore that power. SEGA revealed a few screenshots from the game’s opening, which will also feature the game’s new theme song “Tsumi no Namae” by Ryo (Supercell).
In the previous update, we learned how the regular quests in Live Quest Mode worked. Aside from these Area Quests, a different types of quest called “Event Quests” will also be featured in the Live Quest Mode. The Event Quest will only become available when certain conditions have been met. These depend on your progress you’ve made throughout the game.
Among the “Event Quests” are the “Special Concert” quests. For these quests, players will be asked to make a list of their three favorite songs, and select up to three characters to perform them. In doing so, they’ll get to play the three songs in the rhythm game, but not in their usual music video form. Instead, the songs will be performed on a special stage for a live audience (which, on a side note, still appear to be represented by floating glowsticks), and will also feature a chorus. The crowd will also cheer you on to give the feeling of a “live” performance. Additionally, each of the game’s five elements will feature a different concert hall, to better suit the kind of music being played.
Lastly, here are some screenshots of the new songs and modules which were announced earlier!

The second medley (this time for the Chaos element) has also been revealed, and it will feature the songs “Pink Stick Luv”, “Gigantic P.N.S”, “Childish War” (all three by Giga-P and Reol) and “1, 2 Fanclub” (by Mikito-P).
