Two days ago, SEGA made Jet Set Radio, Golden Axe and Hell Year! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit available for free on Steam, as part of their “Make War Not Love” event. In this event, players are asked to pick a side: either you play Company of Heroes 2, Total War: Attila or Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II. The rules are simple: the more you play, the more you win. Every 48 hours, the side that played the most of their game earns a reward. At the end of the event, the winning side earns a faction exclusive DLC reward.
But it’s not just those participating who earn prizes. As the battle rages, certain SEGA games are made available for free to everyone. Today, Binary Domain, Streets of Rage 2 and Condemned: Criminal Origins can be downloaded for free by anyone who has a Steam account. However, it seems the method to get the games has changed a bit. You’re now asked to enter your e-mail address on the official website to get an e-mail with a unique Steam code for the games. There’s a third round of free games coming soon, which includes Gunstar Heroes, Renegade Ops and Viking: Battle for Asgard!
