SEGA of America and Europe have announced that Valkyria Chronicles Remastered for the PlayStation 4 will be released in both the Americas and Europe on July 17th. At the same time, they’ve also revealed a new trailer, giving people an overview of the games “BLiTZ” Tactical Battle System. You can view the trailer below! Back when the game’s release for the West was first announced, we also mentioned that Europe would be getting its own special edition of the game. SEGA Europe have now revealed the contents of this edition, and it features the following items:
- A physical copy of Valkyria Chronicles Remastered for the PlayStation 4.
- All previously released DLC, including: Hard EX Mode, Edy’s Mission, Selvaria’s Mission and Challenge of the Edy Detachment.
- A double sided poster depicting the Squad 7 on one side, and Selvaria Bles on the other.
- A 32 page art book called ‘The Art of Valkyria Chronicles Remastered’.
Furthermore, all of the physical editions for Europe will contain this pre-order bonus. The price for the physical version has yet to be revealed, and it’s not yet available for pre-order. The game will also be made available digitally on the PlayStation Network upon release, although it seems without any bonuses. Valkyria Chronicles Remaster Europe Edition
Earlier on, SEGA of America had announced their own special edition for pre-order and first-print copies, which included a collectible metal Squad 7 Armored Case. This edition can already be pre-ordered (see the official website for links to retailers selling this edition).
