SEGA of Japan have posted a video showing a complete playthrough of Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X‘s most difficult medley (on the game’s Extreme difficulty), which you can watch below. We talked about the medley in one of our earlier articles. With no less than 1047 notes and a combination of the most difficult songs in the game, the medley is certain to give even veteran players a challenge. I only ever completed a dozen songs on Extreme in Project DIVA F 2nd, so it’s unlikely I’ll manage to complete this song on Extreme, let alone get a Perfect for it. But does it actually look challenging enough for the Project DIVA experts out there? Let us know what you think about the medley in the comments!
Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X will be released tomorrow in Japan for the PlayStation Vita, with a PS4 release following later this year. As of now, there’s no word on a release for the West. But it’s perhaps worth noting that back in 2014, SEGA announced the localization of Project DIVA F 2nd around the same time that the game was released in Japan. Let’s hope to see a repeat of that with Project DIVA X!
Lastly, SEGA also revealed a new alternative module to the air hostess module they announced earlier. This “CA Style 39” module differs from the “CA Style A” module that we talked about before, as it features a different hair style for Hatsune Miku (twintails, to be exact). A code to unlock the module will be included for free in the latest Famitsu (released on Thursday). We included the new screenshots of the module here:
