SEGA of America Reveals 7th Dragon III Code: VFD DLC Plans

SEGA of America has recently announced their DLC plans for the upcoming Summer 2016 3DS title 7th Dragon III Code: VFD.

Similar to Etrian Mystery Dungeon, there’s an assortment of quests that offer specialized rewards and unique challenges (besides loot and experience boosts) for players. While these quests are paid DLC there is also a free DLC piece featuring the Nagamimi doll, a talking bunny plush that provides joy and justice. The pricing schedule for the other pieces of DLC are also provided, alongside the release date for each of the DLC. Atlus stresses that not all DLC can be readily accessed from the beginning of the game and progressing through 7th Dragon III Code: VFD is essential (some content is only available post-game, too). There are no plans for release in Europe announced at the moment.

It’s safe to say that a dragon hunter’s work is never REALLY finished. While we’re still about two months out from the release of 7th Dragon III Code: VFD, we wanted to share some of the additional content that we’ll be rolling out with and after launch.

First off, we have a free in-game bonus item at launch that will delight those who think anthropomorphic talking bunny plushies are cute (you’re a heartless individual if you don’t agree. Just sayin’). The Nagamimi doll will be free for forever, and provides some…unique voice interactions between it and whatever voice actor you selected for your protagonist (of the 40 to choose from).

We’ll also be rolling out seven additional DLC quests that can either help players along with XP/money boosts and unlockable characters, or challenge players with a post-game boss rush! Take a look at the DLC and their descriptions below!
