The SEGA feat. Hatsune Miku Project website has been updated with the news that Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X HD will be getting two new songs as DLC when the game’s PS4 version is released. The first song is “Sharing The World” by BIGHEAD, which was also the theme song for the Hatsune Miku Expo 2014. The second song is “Hand in Hand” by livetune, which was the theme songs for Hatsune Miku Expo 2015. You can view two screenshots of the songs in the PS4 version below.
The two songs were added to commemorate the release of the PS4 version on August 25, 2016. The PS4 version of the game will be getting the two songs for free, while PS Vita owners (where the game is already available) will be able to buy each song for 500 yen (around $4.5). The songs haven’t been announced for the American release of Project DIVA X yet, but we imagine that’s only a matter of time.
Also included in the blog update was an image from the Live Edit mode, using PlayStation VR. The update mentions that you’ll be able to view the songs in Live Edit mode from a unique angle when using viewed with the PlayStation VR headset.
Unfortunately, the lack of depth in the Live Edit mode compared to those in previous Project DIVA games had disappointed fans when the PlayStation Vita version was released, and it’s not clear if any improvements will be made to the mode on the PS4 version, aside from PlayStation VR support.
Gematsu have also posted a large batch of new screenshots from the PS4 version, courtesy of SEGA. You can find the screenshots here:
Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X HD for the PlayStation 4 is scheduled to be launched on August 25, 2016 in Japan. The release of Project DIVA X on PS4 and PlayStation Vita in the Americas is scheduled only a few days later on August 30.
