E3 2016 is next week: June 14-16th. The hype train and rumor mill for all sorts of games are already active. Some fans might even get lucky with the leaks that are coming out recently (anyone here like Dead Rising?)
Meanwhile, Gematsu has recently published an article detailing a partial list of games confirmed to be playable at Sony’s E3 2016 booth. King of Fighters XIV (listed as being published by Atlus) and Yakuza Zero (listed as being published by SEGA), both of which will be available for the Playstation 4. These are great opportunities for both games. King of Fighters XIV is making the rounds at conventions and fighting games tournaments, and added exposure will only help the game. Meanwhile, Yakuza Zero will surely receive much attention and has a bit of a history with Sony due to the #buildingthelist campaign.
Sony will be holding their own press conference on June 13th, at 5:30 PDT. We might not get any surprises here, but if we’re lucky we’ll see some intermittent coverage of SEGA games. However, for the three days after the press conference Sony’s LiveCast show will be broadcasting a variety of content.
Atlus and SEGA seem to be focused on E3 at the moment. We’ll keep you posted if we learn anything more regarding SEGA games!
For our information as spectators of the industry (though not directly related to anything we’re covering on this site,) it’s also worth noting that there are ten Playstation VR titles currently announced for demoing too. It’ll be interesting to see how these games are received.
