Keeping up on E3 news? You might have noticed some titles that aim to take advantage of PlayStation VR.
In a new post to SEGA’s Hatsune Miku Project blog, a release date of October 13th was announced for Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live. The game is a downloadable title exclusive to Sony’s PSVR platform. There are no known release plans for this title outside of Japan.
The blog mentions that if players sufficiently raise the “voltage” of the Live venue, then a bonus interactive Live session between Miku and the player will begin as part of the song. SEGA promises an entirely new experience compared to previous Project DIVA and Project Mirai games.
More media demoing the game is promised in the future! Let’s see what Hatsune Miku and SEGA’s first foray into PlayStation VR will look like. This almost certainly isn’t the only VR title that SEGA is working on, too, as they are among a long list of developers working on PSVR games.
