Following Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X, Gematsu reports that Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live has now also received a rating in Australia. Once again the publisher is listed as SEGA Europe, and this suggests that the game will be heading to the Americas and Europe as well. At this point however, no official announcement has been made. On a related note, Deep Silver has recently made a deal with SEGA of America and Atlus to publish several titles in Europe. As some of those titles haven’t been announced yet, it’s possible that Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live is part of that deal, but we’ll need to wait for an official announcement to find out.
Curiously the game is listed as “multi platform” on the rating website, although that doesn’t necessarily mean anything as Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX (exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS) was also listed as multi platform there.
Recently, people in Japan could play a demo of the game at the recent “SEGA feat. HATSUNE MIKU Project Special experience meeting” in Akihabara. Some off-screen footage of the game can be seen in the (over 7 hour) live recording below, although most of it features footage from Project DIVA Future Tone. The two images below were posted in the Sony PlayStation Japan article linked above.
Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live will be released as a PlayStation VR launch title on October 13th in Japan.
