The story follows groovy reporter Ulala as she rises to the top of TV ratings by rescuing hostages from aliens and competing with rival reporters along the way. The gameplay is a spin on the “Simon Says” game, Ulala must copy the dance moves performed by her opponents with rhythmic timing. Ulala went on to star in a Dreamcast sequel and a Game Boy Advance port and guest starred in many crossover events such as Sonic and Sega All Star Racing and Project X Zone, and referenced in many others including Hatsune Miku: Project Diva and Rhythm Thief.
