Tokyo Game Show 2016 was a big event for Puyo Puyo Chronicle as it gave the upcoming puzzle RPG hybrid game both an introduction and a major promotional push. Following Tokyo Game Show, we’ve got a little more details on plot! And some great screenshots and a video to watch!
It’s been previously revealed that Arle and Carbuncle are transported to another world because of a magical book that fell from the sky. In this strange new land, they meet Allie (who believes Arle to be a prophesied hero) and the three head to Grimp Town. New details reveal that a chief in Grimp Town directs the travelers to the Grimp Forest, wherein a mysterious girl may be met. This mysterious girl is Amitie, the secondary heroine of the Puyo Puyo series and notable for having a Puyo on her head. The party also encounters the last member of the team: Draco-Centaur, a girl with green wings and a tail, and horns, and a dress that resembles a qipao.
