SEGA of Japan have released a new batch of commercials for their upcoming DVD release for their TV anime Hi-sCool! Seha Girls, which features the SEGA Hard Girls characters Dreamcast, Saturn and Mega Drive. The new batch of commercials also includes other SEGA Hard Girls such as Master System, SEGA Mark III, Robo Pitcher and Mega Drive 2. Aside from the 13 episodes of the anime that were aired on TV, the Japanese DVD release will include a new episode as well which takes place during a Sports Festival. In addition, the DVD release will include 3D character models (chibi and swimsuit versions) of the SeHa Girls which can be used in the program MikuMikuDance, a free animation program. The DVD will be released on November 3 in Japan. Curiously, it doesn’t seem like there will be a Blu-Ray release in Japan.
For the release in the West, Discotek Media is still working on a DVD and Blu-ray release. While a release date isn’t know yet, they did reveal the provisional cover art for the box, as well as the DVD and Blu-ray menus (thanks to our writer Kuronoa for pointing out the original tweet). It’s not clear at this point if the extra episode featured in the Japanese DVD release will also be included in Discotek’s release. You can view all the commercials and more images below!
