Atlus U.S.A. has released three new videos for Persona 5, introducing the confidants Hifumi Togo, Sadayo Kawakami and Toranosuke Yoshida. Earlier on we talked about how these confidants can help you learn valuable skills. The same goes for these newly revealed characters, and you can learn more about them in the descriptions and introduction videos below!
Hifumi Togo
One of these confidants is Hifumi Togo. She’s very skilled at Shogi, and as you can see in the video, gets very competitive when playing it. Spending time playing Shogi with her will help you learn all about strategy, and you’ll develop new abilities on the battlefield such as swapping out members mid-fight, fleeing from ambushes, and more.
Sadayo Kawakami
The second confidant introduced here is Sadayo Kawakami, the protagonist’s homeroom teacher at Shujin Academy. However, sha also secretly moonlights as a maid, which the protagonist is aware of. To keep it a secret she strikes a deal with the protagonist: in return for staying silent about her side job, he gets to skip class from time to time, which gives him extra time to spend on other activities And she can cook and clean for you if you pay her for it (maid outfit included).
Toranosuke Yoshida
Toranosuke Yoshida is a humble public servant who hasn’t been very successful in politics, but genuinely cares for the people. Despite his lack of success, the protagonist can still learn from his ability to deliver speeches, and in doing so unlock negotiations skills in battle, such as being able to ask for more money or items from enemies.
