Valkyria Revolution has received a new character trailer in Japan which introduces Maxim. Once a former second prince of a country “Ipseria”, Maxim is now a general serving in the Rus Empire. He appears to be somewhat of a personal rival to Amleth, and has the ability to use powerful magic because of Ragnite experiments that were performed on him. He’ll show up on multiple occasions throughout the game to fight Amleth and his Vanargand unit. You can view Maxim’s character trailer and some screenshots courtesy of SEGA of Japan below.
Valkyria Revolution is scheduled to be released on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on January 19 in Japan (where it is named Valkyria: Azure Revolution). Afterwards, the game will be released in North America and Europe in Q2 2017, where it will also receive an Xbox One version.
