Sega of Japan have announced Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone DX for the PlayStation 4. The game is a new version of Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone containing news songs and modules. This time around, it’s being released as a physical version, rather than the digital-only original. It contains all of the songs from the original game: the 127 songs from Future Sound, 95 songs from Colorful Tone, 12 songs from the three Encore Pack DLC add-ons. In addition, three new songs will be included, one of them being “Ghost Rule” by DECO*27.
A new PV photo mode will also be included, but further details regarding this new mode have yet to be revealed. A Limited edition release also comes with 3 Blu-ray discs containing more than 200 promotional videos and opening movies of songs from six previous Project DIVA games, ranging from the original Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA on the PSP all the way up to Project DIVA X on PS4. A mini-soundtrack is also included for those who pre-order the game, which contains 12 tracks from the game.
Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone DX is scheduled to be released on November 22 in Japan for the price of 7,980 yen. The limited edition will cost 11,990 yen. For those who own the digital version already, the new content will also become available as paid DLC in December. There’s no word yet on a localized release of the game although given SEGA’s recent efforts in localizing Project DIVA titles it’s likely this is only a matter of time.
