SEGA has released a new trailer for Valkyria Chronicles 4, showing some of the new elements added to the game compared. First off are Grenadiers, a new class that can launch long-distance grenades at the enemy. During the opponent’s turn, Grenadiers will also bombard moving enemies within range. That said, as shown in the video, the enemy also has their own grenadiers.
Another new addition to the game are Ship Orders that allow you to call the Centurion for support. For example, one of the orders allows you to launch a bombardment at a location of your choice. Lastly there’s the Last Stand. When a character is defeated in battle, a Last Stand can allow them to either inspire their remaining allies, or stand up and return to the battle. Valkyria Chronicles 4 will be released on PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Steam in the Americas and Europe on September 25, 2018.
