SEGA of Japan has released a new website and the first trailer for Puyo Puyo Chronicle on the Nintendo 3DS! The game’s story starts with Arle and Carbuncle discovering a strange book that ends up transporting them into a different world. There they meet a girl named Allie who for some reason refers to Arle as a “hero”. From there, Arle and Carbuncle will have to struggle to find get back to their original world.

Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live Confirmed for the Americas and Europe on October 14th
The demo for Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live at Gamescom in Germany was already a hint that the game would be announced for the West soon, and with Gamescom now underway SEGA of America have confirmed that the game will be indeed be released in the Americas and Europe on October 14th, exclusively for PlayStation VR. The pricing for the game isn’t known yet, but it will be available only via the PlayStation Network.
Unboxing Video for The King Of Fighters XIV Steelbook and Premium Edition
Atlus U.S.A. have posted an unboxing video for the Steelbook and Premium Edition of the upcoming release of The King Of Fighters XIV on PlayStation 4. You can take a look at the video below to see what content is included in both editions! The King Of Fighters XIV will be released on August 23 in the Americas for $59.99 / CA$79.99. In Europe, the release is planned for 26th August 2016 for €59.99 / £49.99 (published by Deep Silver). The game will be released both in a retail and digital version. Pre-orders and a limited number of launch editions will arrive in the special SteelBook case, and in the week following launch, the Classic Kyo costume DLC will be available for free. The Premium Edition, available for the Americas, will cost $79.99.
The King of Fighters XIV “Burn to Fight” Premium Edition include the following:
- SteelBook® – The game disc will be encased in a collectible SteelBook® emblazoned with the series’ fiery mainstay, Kyo Kusanagi, literally burning to fight.
- Art book – This 144-page art book will be filled with original character/stage drawings from throughout the series.
- 3-Disc Soundtrack – Those looking for an audio fix will be able to enjoy a three-disc soundtrack (housed in a gorgeous Mai Shiranui illustrated case) comprised of 60+ electric songs worthy of the greatest fighting tournament in the world.
- Collector’s Box – All the above items will be packaged in a scorching box adorned with familiar characters.
Sony Will be Bringing Yakuza 0 and Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live to Gamescom 2016
Things weren’t look particularly good for fans of SEGA of Japan and Atlus games at the upcoming Gamescom 2016, as games like Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X, 7th Dragon III Code: VFD, Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse and Persona 5 (!) aren’t included in the lineup of games that SEGA Europe and Deep Silver will be bringing to the event. Gamescom is one of the world’s largest gaming events, held at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany. Last year, it had around 345,000 visitors from 96 countries.
SEGA 3D Classics Collection Will Be Released in Europe on November 4th
SEGA Europe has announced that the SEGA 3D Classics Collection will be released in Europe on November 4th. The collection includes a total of nine classic SEGA games (take a look below for the complete list). The recent live stream of SEGA Central featured a trailer for the game, and also revealed that the game will get a digital and physical release. The Latest Persona 5 Commercial in Japan Features Makoto Niijima
A recent commercial that aired in Japan for Persona 5 focuses on Makoto Niijima, president of the student council and also a member of the Phantom Thieves. An English subtitled version was once again made available by dominationkid w.. You can find both videos below!
Persona 5 will be released on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in Japan on September 15, 2016, while the release for the Americas and Europe is scheduled for Feb. 14, 2017. Deep Silver recently announced the preorder details for Persona 5 in Europe, you can read more about that here.
Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X Cross-Buy DLC Details for the Americas and Europe
Along with the launch of the demo today, SEGA has revealed the details for the DLC that is scheduled to be released for Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X. The DLC will be cross-buy, meaning you only have to buy it once for either the PS4 or PS Vita version. For now, three batches of DLC are planned, the majority of which will be available from day one. Unlike in Japan, it appears the DLC songs Sharing The World and Hand in Hand will not be included for free in the PlayStation 4 version. The Snow Miku 2010-2015 Pack on the other hand will be offered for free for the first month following the release of the game, just like in Japan. And surprisingly, the flight cabinet modules for Hatsune Miku actually made it to the West, and will be available for free!
Overall, the DLC prices are lower than in Japan, similar to how it was for the Project DIVA F games. You can view the entire list of DLC below! While the prices are for the US, SEGA notes that other regions will have comparable prices. Note that the screenshots we included below are from the Japanese version of the game.
Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X Demo Now Available on the EU PlayStation Store, US Version Later Today
At the time of writing, the Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X demo has now been released on the EU PlayStation Store for the PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4! The US version doesn’t seem to be available yet, but it should be released later today. The demo includes three songs: Satisfaction, LOL -lots of laugh-, and Raspberry * Monster, which can be played on Easy or Normal difficulty. A handful of modules (costumes) for Hatsune Miku can also be unlocked. You can also create one custom Music Festival medley featuring a combination of the three songs included in the demo.

SEGA Announces World Chain for iOS and Android in Japan
SEGA of Japan have announced a new mobile game in their “Chain” series (which includes their highly successful Chain Chronicle game), called World Chain. This time the game features high school students in the modern world. The protagonist of the game wakes up in a university to find that history has been altered and some people have disappeared. Using a smartphone called “Chain Driver”, the protagonist can journey through time and assume to role of a “Rewriter” who changes history. In doing so, the protagonist will encounter and form a bond with heroes from different timelines, and use their help in battle.

Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls ESRB Rating Points to Windows PC Version
While Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls was already confirmed for the PS Vita in the Americas and Europe, the ESRB has how updated their rating for the game with a mention of a Windows PC version. As such, it seems the game will also be released on PC, even though there’s been no official word regarding a PC release from Idea Factory International. That said, it wouldn’t exactly be a surprise if the game were to be released on PC, since several Hyperdimension Neptunia and Megadimension Neptunia games are already available on Steam.
