Atlus has revealed a new character trailer for Persona 4: Dancing All Night, this time for Chie Satonaka. The trailer shows Chie in a variety of outfits, ranging from a redesign of her standard Persona 4 outfit to an actual Bruce Lee outfit (which is fitting, given how Chie has a passion for martial arts). Atlus has also revealed the official boxart for the game.

Sega Sales on Steam and EU PlayStation Store

Sega has launched a massive Steam sale, selling a significant part of their PC game lineup at heavily discounted prices. Among the discounted games are Valkyria Chronicles ($6.79) , Dreamcast Collection ($10.49), Jet Set Radio ($2.49), Binary Domain ($7.99) and several games from Sega’s UK development studios such as Alien Isolation ($12.49). The prices in Euro are mostly the same as their US counterparts, with a few exceptions (Jet Set Radio is €1,99).

The sales started today and will run until Monday, March 30. Each day, a new batch of Games will be made available for purchase. Alongside the daily sales, a Sega Super Bundle will also be available throughout the entire duration of the sale, combining no less than 93 Sega titles for the price of $79.99/£59.99/€69.99.

Aside from the Steam sales, the EU PlayStation Store also has two Sega games on sale during their Easter Sale. These are Resonance of Fate (€7.49) and Yakuza: Dead Souls (€7,49). The Easter sales end on April 15th. A good time to add more Sega games to your collection!

Yakuza Zero Tops Japanese Sales Charts

Yakuza Zero has taken both the first and second position in the latest Japanese sales charts in its launch week, with the PS3 version selling 145,823 copies, followed by the PS4 version which sold 90,506 copies. While this is good news, the combined total of 236,329 copies does seem rather low for a non-spinoff Yakuza game. In comparison, Yakuza 5 sold 356,757 copies in its first week on the PS3 alone.

The cause of the lower sales might be multi-fold. First of all, the console market has seen a decline in Japan due to strong competition from mobile games. The PS3 is also showing its age, but despite that, sales for the PS4 remained weak for the most part of 2014. Secondly, Yakuza Zero was still developed for PS3, which means it wasn’t optimized for the PS4. While by no means terrible, the game’s graphics look rather outdated in comparison to the PS4’s top titles. Another factor might be that the franchise is simply showing signs of franchise fatigue. Here as well, moving to PS4 exclusively might help the developers to reinvent and update the gameplay mechanics.

The PR manager for Atlus already teased fans about an upcoming announcement last week, and today Atlus officially announced that Lost Dimension will be heading to both North America and Europe this summer. They have now announced that the game will be launched on June 4 in Japan for the price of 5,990 yen. What they also announced is that Sega will be publishing the game. The game’s producer, Hideyuki Mizutani, explained that development of the game had in fact been completed by the end of November last year, and they had planned to release it back then, but they ran into difficulties related to sales. They turned to Sega, who also worked with Imageepoch on the 7th Dragon 2020 series, to help publish the game. The game’s website has now been relaunched by Sega.
