The game will be releasing as a physical version only on PS4 for $29.99, while the Nintendo Switch version will be available digitally for $29.99 and physically for $39.99, with a special launch edition that includes two Puyo Puyo- and Tetris-themed keychains (while supplies last).

During the recent Nintendo Switch event, Puyo Puyo Tetris was briefly shown being played on the Nintendo Switch. With the event over, the official website of Puyo Puyo Tetris has been updated with more information on this new version of the game for Nintendo Switch, titled Puyo Puyo Tetris S in Japan. The game will be released in Japan on March 3, 2017 as a launch game for the Nintendo Switch. The official website also reveals that the game will get a release in the United States, Europe and other countries, where it will simply be called Puyo Puyo Tetris, although the release date for that version is unknown at the moment. Interestingly, a “Worldwide Puzzle League” mode will allow for worldwide multi-player (albeit without cross-platform support).
Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone Review (PlayStation 4)
Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone for the PlayStation 4 is the latest in a growing number of Project DIVA games that have been released in the West. But rather than being a sequel to the Project DIVA F and Project DIVA X games, Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone on the PlayStation 4 is actually a port of the arcade game Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Arcade Future Tone. While it’s very similar in terms of its rhythm gameplay, it doesn’t contain additional elements such as the DIVA Room and Edit mode from Project DIVA F or the new story mode from Project DIVA X. But that doesn’t mean the PlayStation 4 port of Project DIVA Future Tone doesn’t feature a lot of content, quite the contrary. In fact, it also includes new features and modes that aren’t available in any of the previous Project DIVA games.
Valkyria Revolution’s Latest Character Trailer Features Maxim
Valkyria Revolution has received a new character trailer in Japan which introduces Maxim. Once a former second prince of a country “Ipseria”, Maxim is now a general serving in the Rus Empire. He appears to be somewhat of a personal rival to Amleth, and has the ability to use powerful magic because of Ragnite experiments that were performed on him. He’ll show up on multiple occasions throughout the game to fight Amleth and his Vanargand unit. You can view Maxim’s character trailer and some screenshots courtesy of SEGA of Japan below.

I think you’ll agree that it looks really impressive! Below you can find a large selection of Koyorin’s artwork from the past 3 years that was based on various SEGA and Atlus franchises. On the side of Atlus and Vanillaware you’ll find fanart based on the Persona franchise, Catherine, Dragon’s Crown and Odin Sphere, while on the SEGA side there’s artwork of Selvaria from Valkyria Chronicles, Bayonetta, as well as Hatsune Miku and KanColle.
Yoko Taro’s Message to the Studio Zero Team Receives Fan Translation
Recently Atlus asked prominent game directors around Japan to voice their support to the new “Studio Zero” development studio from Atlus. These included videos from Toshihiro Nagoshi (Yakuza series) and Satoshi Sakai (Phantasy Star Online 2), but the one that really stood out (and also got by far the most views) was the message from Yoko Taro, the director of NieR and Drakengard. Wearing his typical mask from the NieR games, Yoko delivered an unusual and humorous message. Instead of sending a formal message of support, he talked about the potential impact that Studio Zero’s new game may have on the NieR franchise.
Valkyria: Azure Revolution Gets New Video Showing More PS4 Gameplay Footage
In a live stream on YouTube today, gravure model Saki Yoshida played through Valkyria: Azure Revolution on PS4, and this included gameplay segments that we haven’t seen before. In the video starting at 1:08:53, we can see her talking to characters and going through option screens in Elsinore, the capital of Jutland and your base of operations between missions. In the mission afterwards, we get to see a fight against Maxim, one of the game’s antagonists. You can see the video below, but you’ll have to watch it on YouTube as SEGA has disabled embedding on it.
The Latest Valkyria: Azure Revolution Character Trailer Introduces Princess Ophelia
SEGA of Japan’s latest character trailer for Valkyria: Azure Revolution focuses on Ophelia, the princess of Jutland and also a member of the “Vanargand”, and anti-Valkyria unit. In the game, she appears capable of using song magic in a similar way to Brunhild, the Valkyria from the Rus Empire. You can view the trailer below.
Valkyria: Azure Revolution Comparison Screenshots (PS4 Versus PS Vita)
After playing through the PlayStation Vita version of the Valkyria: Azure Revolution demo, we compiled some screenshots to show the difference between the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita version of the game. As expected, the PlayStation Vita version has some considerable graphical downgrades compared to the PlayStation 4 version. Shadows, texture resolutions and geometry are all of a much lower quality on the PlayStation Vita version, and several special effects have been removed, but the framerate appears to hold up at a steady 30fps and the gameplay is pretty much identical.
First Screenshots from the Valkyria: Azure Revolution PS Vita Demo and Two New PS4 Trailers
SEGA have released a PS Vita “Prologue” demo in Japan for Valkyria: Azure Revolution (known as Valkyria Revolution in the West), after already releasing a new PS4 demo a few days ago. The screenshots provided by Sony on the PlayStation Store also serve as the first look at the PS Vita version of the game. In addition, two new trailers of the Japanese PS4 version have been released, one of them introducing the game’s LeGION battle system and the other giving us a look at the city Elsinore in Jutland, which serves as your base of operations and allows for some degree of exploration. You can view the screenshots and the videos below.
The PlayStation Vita version is said to be the same in terms of content, with only a difference in graphics. In addition, cross save will be supported, even for the demo itself.
