Several SEGA and Atlus Games Discounted in EU PSN Black Friday Sales!

Sony’s Black Friday sales on the EU PlayStation Store, running until November 30, features several SEGA and Atlus games at a heavily discounted price! As usual, we compiled all the SEGA and Atlus games in the list below. Sony’s official blog post didn’t include the price in British Pound, but we added those to the list as well. There’s a similar sale on the US PSN, but unfortunately it doesn’t seem to include any SEGA or Atlus games.

New Gameplay Trailer for Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir Features Velvet

Last month, Atlus and VanillaWare posted a character trailer for Velvet, one of the playable characters in Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir. For more information on that, and some details about the character’s background story, take a look at our article here. As a follow-up to that trailer, Atlus has now posted a new gameplay trailer for Velvet. As shown in the trailer, Velvet has a graceful fighting style, using a chain called Gravryl to launch attacks against her enemies. Her more powerful attacks may take up the entire screen (as you can see towards the end of the video). We included the trailer below.

Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir is scheduled to be released on January 14 in Japan for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita. A release in North America is planned in 2016.

Puyo Puyo!! Touch Gets New Trailer

SEGA have posted a new trailer for Puyo Puyo!! Touch, their upcoming mobile game for iOS and Android. The gameplay differs from regular Puyo Puyo in the sense that you need to swipe Puyo’s around. Swiping one Puyo on top of another one will make the latter change to the colour of the Puyo you dragged on top of it. Connect four or more Puyo’s of the same color and they’ll be cleared from the board. Clearing them also allows you to “fire” at objects outside of the board, as you can see in the trailer.

Famitsu Reveals First Screenshots of Valkyria: Azure Revolution

Famitsu posted the first screenshots of Valkyria: Azure Revolution, the RPG set in the Valkyria Chronicles universe which was announced yesterday for PS4. While they’re in a low resolution, they do give us some idea of the game’s art style and graphics. And the difference in style is certainly apparent. The art style reminds me more of Shining Resonance than Valkyria Chronicles, which may make sense given that the developer of Shining Resonance was Media Vision, which is also in charge of this game. That said, we’ve yet to see high resolution screenshots and a video of the game in motion, so it’s difficult to form an opinion of it just yet. Aside from the Valkyria: Azure Revolution screenshots, Famitsu also posted two low-res screenshots of the PS4 remaster of Valkyria Chronicles. Take a look at the screenshots below!
