In the latest PSO2 Station, SEGA have revealed screenshots and video footage of the characters from Nier: Automata, as they appear in Phantasy Star Online 2. Someone captured the video stream and uploaded it to YouTube, you can that video below. As detailed in an earlier article, the collaboration sees costumes of the Nier: Automata characters 2B, 9S and A2 added to the game, along with hairstyles, accessories, weapon camos, lobby actions, music discs and posters. The Pods from Nier: Automata make an appearance as well. The update is scheduled to be released on March 10 in Japan.

JAEPO 2017: Arcade Version of Soul Reverse Details 10 vs 10 Gameplay, Classes and Heroes
The arcade version of “SOUL REVERSE” is the second game in SEGA’s new Soul Reverse series, following the release of Soul Reverse Zero for iOS / Android in November 2016. At JAEPO 2017, an annual trade fair for amusement arcade products which is currently underway, SEGA has given people the first good look at the game.
Puyo Puyo Tetris Gets Release Dates for the Americas and Europe Along with New Game Modes Trailer
Sega of America and Deep Silver have announced the release date of Puyo Puyo Tetris in the Americas and Europe. The game will be available in the Americas on April 25, and in Europe on April 28, for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
Phantasy Star Online 2 Collaboration DLC for Gravity Rush 2 Now Available in the US and EU
In what is ultimately a surprising move, SIE Japan Studio have ended up releasing a set of free DLC for Gravity Rush 2 in the West, which includes the Phantasy Star Online 2 collaboration content that was previously released in Japan. It’s surprising because Phantasy Star Online 2 still hasn’t been released in the West, despite being announced back in 2012, and it seems unlikely to happen at this point. The good news is that this DLC is free, and Gravity Rush 2 itself is an excellent game that offers a gameplay experience unlike anything else out there. It’s well worth checking out, and a free demo is available on the PlayStation Store.
Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone Gets its 1st Encore Pack and Season Pass
Sega have released the first “Encore Pack” for Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone (PlayStation 4), which is a DLC pack that includes 4 additional songs, 13 modules, new accessories and bonus EX Charts. The Encore Pack costs $9.99 / € 9.99, but there’s also a Season Pass available that costs $24.99 / € 24.99 and offers access to all 3 of the scheduled “Encore Packs”, as well as an avatar bundle. The remaining two Encore Packs will release in March and April respectively.
Sega-Sammy Q3 2017 Financial Results Show Increase in Profits
Sega-Sammy Holdings have released their sales results for Q3 2017, and the results show an improvement compared to the same quarter last year. The group posted a total operating income of ¥35,067 million (around $ 312.6 million). Individually, the Pachinko/Pachislot Business segment had an operating income of ¥25,885 million (around $ 230.73 million), while the Entertainment Content Business (which includes their mobile, console and PC games) posted an operating income of ¥15,387 million (around $ 137.16 million). The Resort Business on the other hand again failed to be profitable, and posted an operating loss of ¥1,822 million ($ 16.24 million). The difference with last year is illustrated in the chart below.
Phantasy Star Online 2 Collaboration DLC for Gravity Rush 2 Now Available in Japan
Sony has released the previously announced “Crazy Kitten” costume DLC for Gravity Rush 2 (Gravity Daze 2 in Japan) in Japan, allowing players to select a new outfit for Kat based on a costume from Phantasy Star Online 2. It also includes new PSO2 based photo items for players to place in the environment. The DLC is apparently still scheduled to be released for the West according to Sony Interactive Entertainment PR Yasuhiro Kitao, but it’s unclear when it will end up being released. The fact that it may end up being released at all is surprising enough, as SEGA still hasn’t released Phantasy Star Online 2 in the West.

The King of Fighters XIV: New Costume DLC for Nakoruru and Shun’ei
SNK and Atlus U.S.A. have announced new DLC costumes for two characters in The King of Fighters XIV: Nakoruru and Shun’ei. The costumes are available on the PlayStation Store now and cost $2.99/€1.49 each. It was also recently announced that The King of Fighters XV has been selected as an official game for EVO 2017, the largest fighting game tournament in the world. The event will take place from July 14 to 16. You can view the two trailers for the DLC below!
