It’s been a long time since we’ve heard anything from Virtua Fighter. The Virtua Fighter 5 series of games saw its first release in Japanese in June of 2006, marking ten years of play and activity. But as several fighting game franchises see new installments, you have to wonder what comes next for the seminal 3D fighting game franchise.

New Persona 5 Short Movies: Infiltration Tools Crafting, Gaming, and Ryuji
More Persona 5 Short Movies from Atlus of Japan! All of these help to build the world around the Protagonist and his friends. Such videos as the Infiltration Tools crafting video are also useful for the game itself, too. Items made here, such as a Lock Pick, can be used for your capers. You can make as many of each item as the game and your materials allow.
Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X HD Beauty Medley ~Glossy Mixture~ Video
Brilliant! Elegant! Glamorous!
A new blog post on the official SEGA ft. Hatsune Miku Project website sees the publication of a Beauty Medley: ~Glossy Mixture~ promotional video for Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X HD on PS4. The medley was arranged by Treow (Electrocutica), and features Hatsune Miku, Megurine Luka, and MEIKO. The songs are as follows:

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X released in Japan earlier this year in March, but it will release in North America and Europe on the 30th of August. The demo for the game is currently available for download. (GB, US)
The King of Fighters XIV: Another World Trailer, Dream Match Exhibition, and Gamescom!
It’s a crazier week than normal for The King of Fighters XIV. First – the formal introduction of Team Another World, featuring characters who are new to the King of Fighters franchise. Both Atlus and Deep Silver have provided their own character descriptions for the team. Yakuza 6 Prologue Outline
SEGA has recently published a press statement detailing the events that set up Yakuza 6‘s story, along with a handful of images that may seem familiar if you’ve seen the story trailer. It might seem odd to those of us based in the West, but it’s been almost four years since the Japanese release of Yakuza 5, with Yakuza 6 set to release in December of this year. Persona 5 Release Date for Europe: February 14!
Publisher Deep Silver recently announced that Persona 5 will release on Valentine’s Day 2017 for both Playstation 4 and Playstation 3 in Europe: the same date as North America’s own release. Not only will EU and North America have release date parity, but Deep Silver will also be offering standard editions for both PS3 and PS4, and Take Your Heart and Steelbook Editions for PS4. And, Persona 5 will be available for purchase both at retail and through digital download for both platforms!
Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X – Snow Miku DLC Costumes for Japan
A new SEGA blog post announced a DLC pack containing six Snow Miku costumes for Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X. A trailer accompanying this announcement has been uploaded to YouTube, which is at the end of this article. We’ve also provided a preview image gallery later in this post. As for the modules, each of them have one of Project DIVA X’s Elements attached. They are as follows:

The King of Fighters XIV: Team Ikari Warriors Trailer
This week’s The King of Fighters: XIV trailer features the Ikari Warriors – Ralf, Leona, and Clark. Another classic KOF team. Despite their tough and grizzly appearance, a lot of the attacks here are pretty flashy (even comical?) and the theme music is upbeat. Ralf, apparently, has a flair for the dramatic:
Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse – Demons Trailer, DLC Schedule for North America
Atlus USA published a new minute-and-a-half trailer for Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse, offering a spotlight on the various interactions the player can have with the hundreds of demons in the game. These include the Demon Negotiations, where the player can attempt to talk a demon into either joining you or to receive an item, and the Cathedral of Shadows, where demons can be fused to create a different demon.
Alongside this new trailer, Atlus have also announced a full DLC schedule for SMT IV Apocalypse. It mirrors the DLC offering that the Japanese copy received. Apocalypse will release in North America on September 20th, while a release window for Europe is currently unknown. It will be interesting to see how DLC is handled for Europe.
Etrian Odyssey V Long Japanese Gameplay Demo
4Gamer recently uploaded a 15-minute gameplay demo of Etrian Odyssey V: The End of the Long Myth to their YouTube account. The beginning three minutes or so deal with the heavily customizable character creation system, the next few minutes show off the town and some voiced NPC conversations, and the latter half of the video demos a forest dungeon and the battle system. The dungeon music is pleasant!
