New Persona 4: Dancing All Night Trailer Features Nanako Dojima

Atlus has released another character trailer for Persona 4: Dancing All Night, introducing Yu Narukami’s cousin, Nanako Dojima. While she does not join Yu’s investigation team during the events of Persona 4, she does play an important role in solving the crime as the poor girl gets mixed up into the mess.

According to a translation by Gematsu, Nanako’s story begins as she meets the new character idol Kanami Mashita, and participates in her act. She wears a variant of Kanami’s idol outfit but she adds a wristband and different set of bows and ribbons. She is also seen wearing her standard clothing and her summer clothes from Persona 4 as alternate outfits. Her dancing style is adorable, which is a mix of Kanami’s routine but definitely more child-like in comparison.

Sega Anime On Sale At Funimation Store

Anime licensing and publishing company Funimation is having a Spring sale on their web store slashing prices on 400 products, which is a huge amount of their stock of franchises available. You can check out the whole sale, but we’ve conveniently listed Sega and Atlus related titles on sale for you. It is unclear when the sale will end, but it is likely in a week or two. I recommend picking up titles you want right away.

Because Atlus is localizing Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains set to release this May, we listed the anime to help you catch up. We’ve also included series that feature characters who also made an appearance in Sega’s Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax, such as A Certain Magical Index and Shakugan no Shana, as well as listed Utawarerumono for its characters being featured in Aquapazza, a crossover fighting game Atlus localized a while back. Finally, multiple seasons of the Initial D series is on sale which Sega have adapted into a series of popular racing games over the years.

Atlus has released the next character trailer for Persona 4: Dancing All Night, introducing the “Detective Prince” herself, Naoto Shirogane. During the events of Persona 4, she was employed by the police in Inaba to investigate the chain of murders. She then joined Yu’s investigation team and helped find the culprit.

Atlus Localizes Dungeon Travelers 2: The Royal Library & the Monster Seal

Atlus announced the localization of Dungeon Travelers 2 for Playstation Vita, scheduled for release sometime this summer in North America, while NIS America will be bringing the game overseas to Europe this Fall. This is the third time Atlus have picked up an Aquaplus game, prior titles being Aquapazza and Tears to Tiara 2 on PS3. As the name suggests, Dungeon Travelers 2 is a dungeon crawler and a fantasy spinoff of the ToHeart2 visual novel series.

Project X Zone 2: Brave New World Debut Trailer Released!

Bandai Namco US have just released the English trailer for Project X Zone 2: Brave New World, officially confirming the game’s existence (and localization!) and also announcing plenty of characters from Namco, Sega and Capcom franchises that will be featured in the game. The game is being developed by Monolith Software and is scheduled to be released on the Nintendo 3DS Fall 2015 in the Americas. Shin Megami Tensei & Fire Emblem Crossover Coming to Wii U

In 2013 Nintendo announced a collaboration with Atlus to create a crossover between Shin Megami Tensei and Fire Emblem for Wii U. The debut trailer was a teaser with artwork of main characters from both franchises with very little information besides being a Wii U RPG. There were worries that the game had become vaporware, with no additional information or actual gameplay footage. Today, during the April 1st Nintendo Direct, Nintendo finally revealed the game is alive and well with a new trailer.

Atlus Localizes Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains

Atlus announced the localization of Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains for Nintendo 3DS, during a Nintendo Direct on April 1st. The game, originally developed by Spike Chunsoft, is based on the popular anime and manga series, where humans fight giant-sized humanoids called Titans to defend their city and only home. In story mode, players can choose to play as the main characters of the series such as Eren and Mikasa as you follow the story through their perspective. In World mode, you can create your own character and choose missions and develop your character as you see fit. The game features local and online co-op multiplayer and New 3DS owners can control the camera with the C-stick. The game is scheduled for a May 2015 release digitally on 3DS eShop for North America and Europe.

Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker: Fate System Trailer

Atlus USA shared the latest news on the localization of Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker on 3DS by uploading a trailer about the game’s Fate System. With this feature, players can take time between the story to interact and form a bond with party members so you can strengthen them for future battles. By reaching the next stage in the Fate system, your party members gain abilities such as elemental resistances and the ability to fuse powerful new demons.

Sega Announce Miracle Girls Festival for Playstation Vita

Sega have announced their latest anime collaboration, titled Miracle Girls Festival for Playstation Vita scheduled to release sometime this Winter in Japan. The game is a massive crossover featuring girls from mostly slice of life anime using the Project Diva engine. Gameplay looks exactly like Project Diva, with similar interface for the button commands. I’m curious what unique features the game will have over Project Diva. Yuru Yuri is becoming a bit of a favorite with Sega, as Phantasy Star Online 2 already featured a collaboration with the anime beforehand. Interestingly, Go! Go! 575 series also sticks out because that is one of Sega’s newer multimedia projects. As you may remember, last year Sega released a Vita game titled Uta Kumi 575, another rhythm game about filling in missing lyrics done in haiku. The game cross promoted the then-airing anime adaptation.

Sega is bringing Miracle Girls Festival among their other games to AnimeJapan 2015 in playable form. Hopefully it is every bit as fun as Project Diva is.

Sega and Game Freak Announce Tembo the Badass Elephant

Sega is working with Pokemon developer Game Freak for the first time since Pulseman (on Sega Genesis) for a new sidescrolling platformer titled Tembo the Badass Elephant for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC. It is scheduled for release in Summer 2015 and will only be available for digital release. It’s a bizarre choice of platforms given Game Freak’s relationship with Nintendo, however, keep in mind that Game Freak is an independent developer and have worked outside Nintendo Platforms from time to time. Sega’s blog detailed what the game is about and shared a debut trailer for us to watch.
