Sega and Sony recently ran an interesting surprise Valentine’s Day promotional activity for Yakuza Kiwami. Here’s the setup: actors dressed as yakuza thugs menacingly approach an unsuspecting traveler going about on some business at Shinjuku Station and direct them to a carpet walkway. Bandai Namco Entertainment’s Project X Zone 2, the strategy game featuring a mashup of characters from SEGA, Capcom and Bandai Namco franchises, was launched yesterday in Europe, and will soon be available in the US on February 16th. SEGA have issued a press release revealing a bonus item that will be included for pre-orders and a limited number of launch copies of the SEGA 3D Classics Collection. As we could already see near the end of the latest promotional video, SEGA will be partnering with Japanese airline “Air Do” for the release of Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X. Pre-orders (including digital downloads) and first print runs of the game will come with a code to unlock a special “CA Style A” module for Hatsune Miku, giving her a rather classy flight attendant uniform.
