What information do we collect?
Segalization.com uses Google Analytics to gather non-personally identifiable visitor information which may be used for statistical purposes. Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are small text files placed on your computer, to collect this information. A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. This information is used to better understand our audience and improve our website. You can find Google’s privacy policy here.
Google provides an opt-out plugin to disable Google Tracking on all websites which you visit, which can be found by following this link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. This will prevent Google Analytics from storing cookies on your computer. Alternatively, you can also set your browsers to refuse cookies before using our website, with the drawback that certain features of our websites may not function properly without the aid of cookies.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties any personally identifiable information for any purpose, unless you explicitly submit that information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety.
Comments
Comments and other content submitted on our website use the Akismet anti-spam service from Automattic to help protect the website against spam comments. The comments are not saved on their servers unless they were marked as false positives or missed spam, in which case they are stored long enough to use them to improve the service to avoid future false positives and missed spam.
