Back in 2015, Atlus announced that they would be releasing a browser-based version of Odin Sphere Leifthrasir, emulating the style of classics 8-bit games. Today, Atlus has released the game to the public, and you can play it on their official website. You play as Gwendolyn, and the goal is simply to survive as long as you can. As you defeat enemies you’ll gain experience and become stronger, but at the same time the enemies increase in number and strength as well.

Atlus Launches Twitter Campaign for an 8-bit Browser Version of Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir
Atlus has launched a new Twitter campaign to gauge interest in an 8-bit browser game based on Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir. The game will only be made available if fans manage to send out 28,880 tweets by November 30th. At the moment, the number of tweets is already past 20,000, so it seems likely that the target will be met with plenty of time to spare. Atlus has also launched an official webpage for the 8-bit version, and a Youtube trailer (which you can find below) giving us an early look at the graphics and gameplay (once you get past the bizarre opening).
If you want to help to reach the 28,880 tweets, you can do so by following this link.
