Funimation and Crunchyroll have announced a SimulDub/Simulcast for Chain Chronicle: The Light of Haecceitas, an anime based on Sega’s popular mobile franchise Chain Chronicle. The release consists of three theatrical films and a televised anime. Crunchyroll will stream the first movie (with English subtitles) on December 16th at 11AM PST for premium users of the Crunchyroll service worldwide (excluding Asia). Movies 2 and 3 will air on the service in January and February respectfully. Funimation will provide an English dub on their own streaming service shortly after the airing of the movie.

SEGA of Japan Has Uploaded the First 7 Minutes of Chain Chronicle: The Light of Haecceitas to YouTube
Ahead of the release in theaters in Japan, SEGA have uploaded the first 7 minutes of the first part of Chain Chronicle: The Light of Haecceitas, the new anime based on the popular mobile franchise from SEGA, on their YouTube channel. Evidently that means it will contains spoilers. The first part also includes a somewhat disturbing scene involving one of the game’s main characters. You can watch it below.
Chain Chronicle: The Light of Haecceitas Anime Gets New Trailer
Last year, SEGA announced that Chain Chronicles would be getting another anime, titled Chain Chronicle: The Light of Haecceitas. The first trailer for the anime boosted rather impressive animation, but unfortunately the video encoding left something to be desired
SEGA has now revealed a new trailer, and this time the video is properly encoded and gives us a better look at what we can expect from the anime. So far, it’s looking rather good in terms of visuals and animation. Ahead of the anime’s premiere on TV, SEGA will be showing a three-part preview in theaters in Japan, on December 3, 2016, January 14, 2017 and February 12, 2017.
