Today marks the launch of PlayStation VR, and that also means that Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live is now also available worldwide. I’m currently playing the game, and you can expect my first impressions in an article later today. A free demo is available as well on the PlayStation Store, which includes the song “Weekender Girl”. Meanwhile, Sega has also announced that the 2nd stage for Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live will be released on November 10 in Japan. We also get a few new screenshots of the new stage, which you can view below. As you can see, the 2nd stage will also include Rin, Len and Luka (the 1st Stage features Miku only). Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X should also have been updated to support VR in its Concert Editor mode, but it doesn’t appear to be active yet on my US copy of the game.

Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live Trophy List Revealed by Exophase
Exophase has revealed the trophy list for SEGA’s upcoming PlayStation VR game, Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live. These appear to be for the game’s 1st stage only, not the 2nd and 3rd stage that will be released later on. You can find the complete list on Exophase’s website. We also included the list below. Keep in mind that these do reveal some of the content in the game (although there’s nothing that can really be deemed as spoilers in a game like this).
SEGA of Japan Announces First DLC Pack and Season Pass for Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone
SEGA of Japan have announced that Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone (the PS4 version of Project DIVA Arcade Future Tone) will be getting its first DLC pack on September 15, 2016. The “1st Additional Music Pack” will cost 1,500 yen (excluding tax), and contains the following items:
- 4 rhythm game songs (“Ageage Again”, “Cendrillon”, “Adolescense” and “Shake It!”)
- 13 modules
- 12 customization items
- “EXTRA EXTREME” difficulty for 9 songs
Judging from the content, it appears these are the songs that were earlier this year (in Feburary and April).
Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live – 1st Stage Details
SEGA of Japan has issued a new press release containing more information on the “1st stage” of their upcoming VR game, Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live. The game has already been confirmed for the Americas and Europe, releasing just one day after the official launch of the PlayStation VR headset, on October 14.
Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X Cross-Buy DLC Details for the Americas and Europe
Along with the launch of the demo today, SEGA has revealed the details for the DLC that is scheduled to be released for Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X. The DLC will be cross-buy, meaning you only have to buy it once for either the PS4 or PS Vita version. For now, three batches of DLC are planned, the majority of which will be available from day one. Unlike in Japan, it appears the DLC songs Sharing The World and Hand in Hand will not be included for free in the PlayStation 4 version. The Snow Miku 2010-2015 Pack on the other hand will be offered for free for the first month following the release of the game, just like in Japan. And surprisingly, the flight cabinet modules for Hatsune Miku actually made it to the West, and will be available for free!
Overall, the DLC prices are lower than in Japan, similar to how it was for the Project DIVA F games. You can view the entire list of DLC below! While the prices are for the US, SEGA notes that other regions will have comparable prices. Note that the screenshots we included below are from the Japanese version of the game.

The demo includes three songs: Satisfaction, LOL -lots of laugh-, and Raspberry * Monster, which can be played on Easy or Normal difficulty. A handful of modules (costumes) for Hatsune Miku can also be unlocked. You can also create one custom Music Festival medley featuring a combination of the three songs included in the demo.
If you own either a PS4 or PS Vita, why not give the game a try? Let us know what you think about the game in the comments!

Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live Receives a Rating in Australia
Following Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X, Gematsu reports that Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live has now also received a rating in Australia. Once again the publisher is listed as SEGA Europe, and this suggests that the game will be heading to the Americas and Europe as well. At this point however, no official announcement has been made. On a related note, Deep Silver has recently made a deal with SEGA of America and Atlus to publish several titles in Europe. As some of those titles haven’t been announced yet, it’s possible that Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live is part of that deal, but we’ll need to wait for an official announcement to find out.
