The official blog for The World End Eclipse has recently announced that the game will be ending service on October 6, 2016. The online RPG game was made available on PC, iOS, Android in Japan and a PlayStation Vita version was scheduled to be released this year, but we can assume that’s been cancelled. The game was never released in the West.

[Rumour] Is “SEGA Blast Heroes” a New SEGA Mobile Strategy RPG? (UPDATED)
An interesting piece of news has popped up on PocketGamer.biz, taking a look at what could be a new mobile game from SEGA. Recently, some people have reported seeing a new advert on Facebook promoting SEGA Blast Heroes, a supposedly new SEGA mobile strategy RPG. But curiously, the Facebook page behind the ad is called “SEGA Mobile”, and is listed as a “fan page” for SEGA. The advert in question also links to what seems to be a fake app store page from StoreMaven. The latter is apparently a service that helps test app store conversion rates.
SEGA’s Mobile Game Cranky Food Friends is Closing Down
Sega of America’s mobile game studios appear to be having a rough time recently. Earlier on, SEGA announced that they were making a reduction in their mobile work force. As a result, everyone at Three Rings Design Inc. lost their job. More recently, SEGA announced that they would be closing down Puzzle & Glory, a mobile match-3 RPG game from Demiurge Studios (acquired by SEGA in 2015). And now SEGA have announced that yet another mobile game will be closing down, namely Cranky Food Friends. The game will be shutting down on March 31, 2016. The game is mostly known to SEGA fans because of the fact that it’s a reskin of Puyo Puyo Quest!!, one of SEGA’s most successful mobile games in Japan. The reskin was a controversial decision, and apparently didn’t help to assure the game’s success in the West.
