Persona 5 E3 2016 Trailer

Atlus has published a four-and-a-half minute long promotional trailer for Persona 5, for use with E3 2016. As with the media we’ve seen recently for the game at E3 2016, this features English subtitles with Japanese voicework.

In related news, John Hardin of Atlus PR maintains that Japanese voice tracks for the characters as DLC is being explored as an option for its Western release, but also suggests that it is not a guaranteed outcome and will not be easy to secure. We’ll keep you posted on any additional news.

Watch the trailer below! And feel free to leave us comments on the newly-released gaming media, or thoughts surrounding the release of these games.

Persona 5 Release Date For the Americas: February 17, 2017, Special Editions

It’s no secret that Persona 5’s changing release date has been the subject of jokes among some fans. Previously, launch windows have been specified for Persona 5, albeit ahead of much information regarding characters and plot themes. That aside, Persona 5 has the distinction of being one of the latter prominent titles to release across console generations, for any holdouts who haven’t purchased a PS4.

Atlus announced the news of a February 14 (Valentine’s Day!) release date for the Americas ahead of an upcoming E3 promotional blitz. Alongside this news, Atlus has announced two special editions to be made available in the Americas.

Persona 5’s Remaining Cast Members, And More

While Famitsu leaks earlier this week revealed the names and offered a short bio of some of the remaining cast members of Persona 5, more information has been officially revealed, including names and other information on the game itself. Keep in mind that there is one more character who it seems has yet to be fully revealed (towards the upper right in the featured image used for this article)…

In any case, here’s an introduction to more of your friends in this game!

Persona 5 FutabaFutaba Sakura is the navigator of the group, with the age of a first-year in high school and an exceptionally gifted level of intellect and talent for programming and calculation. However, she lacks for social skills and is a shut-in due to a certain incident in her life; Sakura does not attend school after her middle-school graduation. She is often awkward around others and covers her head in public, though she does not do this with the Protagonist. Her starting Persona is Necronomicon, which is UFO-like. Sakura has a special connection to the overarching events of Persona 5’s story.
