A few days ago we’ve reported that the Nintendo DS RPG Infinite Space will be restocked at the Canadian video game retailer Video Games Plus, and turns out various Atlus Playstation Portable games as well as both Trauma Center games for the Nintendo DS will be restocked as well! Video Games Plus explained in a tweet that these recent restocks are in fact new reprints of the DS games, and that almost any new DS game sold on the market today has been reprinted, unless the game underperformed in sales.

Official Persona 5 Website Updated With New Character Artwork

The official Persona 5 website received an update, adding more details regarding the characters’ Persona and some impressive artwork from character designer Shigenori Soejima. You can view the characters (left) and their Persona (right) below, along with some details on who the Persona’s are based on. It’s interesting how all of the Persona’s seems to fit the “thief” and “outlaw” theme of Persona 5.

Persona 4: Dancing All Night’s English Adachi and Marie Trailers

The Playstation Vita title Persona 4: Dancing All Night‘s North American release is only a week away, and Europe’s release is two weeks from now! As was the case with the Japanese release of the game, the extra characters Adachi and Marie will be available as paid DLC options at $4.99 apiece. Two people with unwieldy personalities, but maybe there’s something to love underneath all of that! Remember that they’re only available for play in the game’s Free Dance Mode (the same situation as Margaret,) and not the story scenarios for Persona 4: Dancing All Night.

Persona 5 Animation Project Announced

Atlus has announced an animation project for Persona 5. It appears to be a short movie rather than an extended TV anime series. Much like the announcement of the Ace Attorney animated series, details are pretty limited right now.

Some may be bewildered by the announcement of an animation project before the game itself has come out, but this isn’t unheard of. Sega’s Hero Bank is one example, where news of the animation surfaced shortly before the first game’s release. And besides, Persona is a prominent series for Atlus and surely they plan on making Persona 5 similarly as popular as Persona 4 is.

Additionally, the opening theme has been more fully revealed with a teaser at a recent Persona stage event at TGS. The artist behind the song is Lyn, and a video capturing footage of the event (after the break) shows off a verse and a chorus of the song. It’s pretty nice!

Persona 20th AnniversaryThere is also a special 20th anniversary project for the Persona series in the works, but not much else is known at the moment.

Persona 5 Delayed Until Summer 2016 in Japan, New Trailer Revealed

Atlus has announced that Persona 5, which was scheduled for a worldwide release in 2015 on PS3 and PS4, has been delayed until Summer 2016 in Japan. Atlus U.S.A. has also confirmed the game will be released in 2016 in the Americas, but no announcement has been made for the European release.

At the same time, Atlus has released a new trailer, which shows more of the game’s gameplay and story elements (we embedded the video and an unofficial translated version below). The main protagonist is shown held captive and interrogated regarding his ability to “steal hearts”. Apparently, the concept of “stealing hearts” will be an important aspect of the story. Also making an appearance are the other playable characters: the cat-like creature Morgana (who doesn’t like being called a cat), and Anne Takamaki and Ryuji Sakamoto. In the first part of the video, these three can actually be seen running off a pyramid, suggesting that we may see more of the world than just Japan this time around. There’s also talk about a mysterious subway accident which hasn’t been resolved. Aside from the usual dungeons and Persona summons that fans of the series will be familiar with, we also see some interesting gameplay elements, such as the characters entering into paintings where the gameplay then shifts to 2D side-scrolling.

Persona 4: Dancing All Night Nanako and Margaret English Trailers

The English trailers for Persona 4: Dancing All Night featuring Nanako and Margaret are now out. With these two, we’re at the tail end of the character trailers. Nanako is the cousin of Yu Narukami, good-natured and supportive. Margaret’s elegant and coy personality come through in her dance, but keep in mind that she’s available only in the Free Dance Mode and unlocked after fulfilling special conditions in-game.

The game is scheduled for a September 29 release in North America and a November 6 release in Europe. Continue reading to check out the trailers!

Persona 4 Dancing Naoto

Persona 4: Dancing All Night Naoto Trailer + Europe Release Date!

AtlusUSA has released another character trailer: this one features Naoto. I feel like this is such a perfect environment for Naoto despite what the premise of the game might suggest. There’s a mystery to solve, her self-serious and driven nature can help her with dancing and expressing herself, and she’s actually just…cool. In a way that the other characters don’t capture.

Additionally, NISAmerica has announced that Persona 4: Dancing All Night will release in Europe on November 6th! In our previous article about RiceDigital’s Midnight Stage edition, the same release date was noted for the standard and Midnight Stage editions, according to the preorder pages for the two products.

NISAmerica also described the contents of the “Disco Fever” edition for Europe. Looks to be the same between both Europe (as noted by Gematsu) and North America!

Be sure to continue reading to check out the trailer. Naoto’s voice has definitely been changed (and has changed quite often throughout recent Persona 4-related titles) so keep an ear out.

Midnight Stage Edition P4AD Europe

Persona 4: Dancing All Night “Midnight Stage Edition” Coming to Europe

RiceDigital has announced a special Midnight Stage Edition of Persona 4: Dancing All Night for European gamers, a specific package offered only by them. It is priced at £34.99, as opposed to the standard edition’s £29.99. The Midnight Stage Edition comes with Tarot Card Set #1 (which came with select copies of Persona 4: Arena Ultimax) and a Junes-themed T-Shirt. All of the goods are pictured above, taken directly from RiceDigital’s announcement page for the Midnight Stage Edition. RiceDigital themselves have previously offered special packages for Persona 4: Arena Ultimax and Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth, among their Persona-related offerings.

Additionally, you’ll be able to choose the size of the Junes shirt that you want, among small, medium, large, and extra-large. You’ll also be able to choose the country you want to ship your package to.

It’s not the same offering as the “Disco Fever” Edition but it’s rare to see something (the T-Shirt) be offered as an exclusive from a Europe-based retailer that North America doesn’t already have access to.

RiceDigital is also offering the Standard Edition as a purchasable option, and those who have preordered the Standard Edition will be able to change their purchase option prior to the game’s release.

The release date shown for the Midnight Stage Edition is November 6th of this year.
