Project DIVA X Air Do Module Ingame 2

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X is Getting Two Modules as Free DLC in Japan

Earlier on during the Japanese release of Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X, SEGA included an exclusive air hostess module (named “CA Style A”) for Hatsune Miku as a preorder bonus for the game. A variation of the module, named “CA Style 39”, was included with Famitsu. These two modules were part of a deal with Japanese airline company Air Do, and they will now be made available for free for both the PS4 and PS Vita version in Japan on August 25, the same day as the PS4 version is released.

Whether or not this DLC will make it to the West remains to be seen, since the Air Do partnership is not particularly relevant outside of Japan. At this point, there’s no news yet regarding Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X DLC for the West. But that’s probably only a matter of time.

The King of Fighters XIV: Team Psycho Soldier Trailer

This week’s The King of Fighters XIV trailer features Team Psycho Soldier. Everyone here should be familiar to KOF fans. The composition of this team – Athena, Sie, Chin – surpasses the force of time itself. Athena has been an idol forever, Kensou has been in love with with Athena forever, Chin has been…in love with alcohol forever. Don’t ruin a good thing, right? Unless you want to go for a wardrobe change, like Kensou did for this game.

Check out the trailer and Atlus’s description for the characters below!

Yakuza 6: New Teaser PV, Release Date, English-Subtitled Version by KHHsubs

Sega has released a major promotional video for Yakuza 6, now officially subtitled as “inochi no uta” or “poetry of life.” The trailer bills the game as the final chapter of the legend of Kazuma Kiryu. What does this mean for Kiryu and the future of the Yakuza series…?

Yakuza 6 will take place in Jingaicho, based off of Onomichi, Hiroshima, alongside the series’ mainstay location of Kamurocho. This new location is important since Haruka is involved in a life-threatening accident in Hiroshima, and this prompts Kiryu to meet several new characters and discover a new world in Hiroshima. But as we see in the video, Kiryu and Haruka are still tied to the yakuza, the Tojo Clan, and Kamurocho.

Hatsune Miku Project DIVA X - May 27 - 28

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X Releases in Europe on August 30 as Digital Download-Only Title, Demo Announced for US/EU

SEGA of America and SEGA Europe have issued a new press release, revealing that Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X will be releasing on the PS4 and PS Vita as a digital-only title on August 30, 2016 (the same day as the release in the Americas). As such, the game will be available exclusively via the PlayStation Network. At the same time, they’ve also announced a new demo for the game, to be released on August 9. The demo contains the songs — Satisfaction, LOL -lots of laugh-, and Raspberry * Monster. In addition, the demo has various modules (costumes) to unlock, and featured the Easy and Normal difficulty (the full game has four difficulty levels). There’s also an Event Request where you can play the three songs in succession. The demo will be available on both PS4 and PS Vita, and is compatibly with PlayStation TV. Judging from the description, it appears this will be the same demo as the one released in Japan.

It’s of course unfortunate to learn that we will not be getting a physical release of the game in Europe. It appears this may have something to do with the fact that it appears SEGA Europe is still publishing the game in Europe, rather than Deep Silver. On the other hand, at least it’s a simultaneous release.

Read the press release below for more information!

Hatsune Miku VR Future Live - 2

Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live Receives a Rating in Australia

Following Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X, Gematsu reports that Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live has now also received a rating in Australia. Once again the publisher is listed as SEGA Europe, and this suggests that the game will be heading to the Americas and Europe as well. At this point however, no official announcement has been made. On a related note, Deep Silver has recently made a deal with SEGA of America and Atlus to publish several titles in Europe. As some of those titles haven’t been announced yet, it’s possible that Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live is part of that deal, but we’ll need to wait for an official announcement to find out.
