Atlus U.S.A. has announced that Persona 5, which was just released a few days ago in America and Europe, has shipped a total of 1.5 million copies. While this doesn’t mean all those copies have actually been sold to consumers, it’s certainly still an impressive number, and it’s safe to say that Atlus and SEGA are more than happy with the results. The English Version of Puyo Puyo Tetris Won’t Have Any Streaming Restrictions
Following the decision from Atlus to put streaming restrictions on Persona 5, a move which is getting a lot of criticism from its fans, the reveal that Puyo Puyo Tetris would also feature streaming restrictions in Japan meant fans were worried for the upcoming English release. Fortunately, localization producer Sam Mullen has put those fears to rest on NeoGAF with the following post:
Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone 3rd Encore Pack Available Now
SEGA of America have released the 3rd “Encore pack” for Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone on the PlayStation Store. Like the previous packs, it costs $9.99/€9.99/£7.99 and includes new songs, modules, accessories and Extra Extreme charts. There’s also a DLC Season Pass that includes all three packs and an exclusive bonus avatar set for $24.99/€24.99/£19.99. You can find an overview of the contents of the 3rd pack below.
Persona 5 Now Available in the Americas and Europe, Atlus Posts Streaming Guidelines
After a long wait and multiple delays, Persona 5 has finally been released in the Americas and Europe today! The game has received very favorable reviews, and after strong sales in Japan, the game looks set to be a big success for Atlus and SEGA in the rest of the world as well. There’s a lot of DLC, some of it free, that will be made available as well. You can review the entire list of DLC below, along with new launch trailer for the game.
Valkyria Revolution Releases on June 27 and Gets a Limited “Vanargand Edition” on PS4 in the Americas
In a new update on the US and EU PlayStation blogs, the new PR Manager for Atlus/SEGA of America Will Chan has posted an update on Valkyria Revolution, a spinoff title from the Valkyria Chronicles series. The blog posts also reveals that pre-orders and limited launch copies of the physical PS4 and Xbox One game will consist of a limited “Vanargand Edition”, which contains several of extras. Unfortunately, it appears only the Americas are getting this version.
Atlus U.S.A. Is Looking into Amazon’s Cancellations of Persona 5 “Take Your Heart” and Steelbook Pre-Orders (UPDATED)
UPDATE: Atlus U.S.A. has posted an update, stating that they can confirm what they’ve always known, “that there’s nothing wrong or “dangerous” about our product” and that only a “tiny number of Amazon sales have been affected”. In other words, Amazon’s claims that the pre-order was cancelled due to “dangerous goods” contained in the product appears to be false. Atlus has stated that anyone affected by the cancellations should contacted their retailer.

Shenmue 3 Dev Room Progress Report Shows Brief Glimpses of Gameplay
After a long silence, the Shenmue 3 team has posted a new update on their Kickstarter page, titled “Dev Room Progress Report Vol. 2”. It shows us a few brief glimpses of the game, although it’s stated that all characters shown are used from older resources. Which is likely also the reason why the developers are still avoiding showing Ryo’s face. Other than showing us the development team at work, the video features Ryo performing some basic animations, and also reveals an in-game arcade cabinet. You can view the video below!
Shenmue 3 is still scheduled for a release in December 2017 on PlayStation 4 and PC.
The Latest Persona 5 Trailer Introduces the Twin Wardens: Caroline and Justine
After the Sizzle trailer, Atlus U.S.A. has released a new trailer focusing on the Twin Wardens of the Velvet Room: Caroline and Justine. They’re responsible for your “rehabilitation” in the game, and in the Velvet Room you’ll be able to fuse Personas and strengthen your character. Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone 2nd Encore Pack Now Available
SEGA of America have announced that the 2nd Encore Pack for Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone is available now on the US PlayStation Store for $9.99. Curiously, it’s not available on the EU PlayStation Store at the moment. We’ll keep an eye out for when it does show up. The 2nd Encore pack features more songs, accessories, modules and Extra Extreme charts. The full list of content can be found below, as well as three additional themes that are available now on the US and EU PlayStation Store for $3.99 / €3.99. A DLC Season Pass is also available for $24.99, which includes all three of the Encore Packs. The last Encore Pack will be released in April.
