Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax launch edition

Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax – Launch Edition for North and South America, October 6 Release Date

Pictured above is a tentative mockup of the packaging for the newly-announced “Launch Edition” for Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax for North and South America. The Launch Edition includes only copies that are preordered or otherwise part of the game’s first print run. Notably, it includes an OST CD for the game, which features compositions from a handful of in-house Sega music talent including Jun Senoue, Naofumi Hataya, Kenichi Tokoi, and Teruhiko Nakagawa.

The game will release on October 6th for all regions. The Playstation 3 version will be valued at $39.99, and the Vita version for $29.99. Pricing schedule hasn’t been announced for regions outside of the US, as of yet.

European gamers should take note that the game will only be available digitally in their region. The Americas will have both a physical and a digital option.

This is perhaps old news to some of you, but in any case I’d like to put it out there that there is a Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax subforum at the official Sega forums. Be sure to make use of it!

Lost Dimension Launch Trailer

AtlusUSA uploaded a new trailer for the Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita title Lost Dimension in conjunction with the game’s July 28 release in North America (Europe will be getting this game in a month.) The trailer is a little under a minute and a half, and touches all of the major bases in the game: the battle system, the basic story concept, the voting process. It’s a good recap for all of the information thus far on Lost Dimension and it also serves as a good introduction for those who don’t know what the game is about.

Hatsune Miku DLC Announced for Persona 4: Dancing All Night

Atlus have revealed new DLC for Persona 4: Dancing All Night featuring Crypton Future Media’s virtual idol, Hatsune Miku. Given how Sega has been making their own rhythm games featuring Miku, it’s not a big surprise to see her featured as DLC for Dancing All Night now that Atlus is owned by Sega-Sammy. The DLC is scheduled to be released mid-August, and will feature the song “Heaven feat.Hatsune Miku (ATOLS Remix)”. As the name suggests, this is likely a remix of the “Heaven” song from Persona 4. You can find concept art and some in-game screenshots of Hatsune Miku in Persona 4 Dancing All Night below.

Lost Dimension The End

Lost Dimension Trailer: The End (The Character)

Here’s The Article containing The Trailer for The End, The Character, who apparently shows up at The Beginning (but also presumably shows up at other parts of the story including The End, and by The End I mean a particular point in the game’s plot progression and not the character himself.) To let you know that The End of humanity is coming.

He is a terrorist, self-styled agent of the apocalypse, and delights in the suffering and impending doom that he aims to bring upon humanity. The Pillar, his lair, is designed in such a way to psychologically torture the characters of the game, as the team must guess at the traitors amongst the ranks and eliminate one team member periodically through the journey to the top.

Persona 4 Dancing Rise

Persona 4: Dancing All Night’s English Rise and Yu Trailers

AtlusUSA has begun a wave of character video promotion for Persona 4: Dancing All Night, ahead of its release this year in Western territories and Australia. The format for the videos is actually the same as the Japanese trailers previously posted, with a variety of lines that offer a surface glimpse into the character, down to the video closing with the game’s title.

This round features Rise Kujikawa and Yu Narukami. Viewers will be able to check out new voice acting for some of the characters through these videos too, as not all voice actors reprise their roles from Persona 4: Golden or Persona 4: Arena Ultimax. Namely, Rise has a new voice actor for this game.

Interestingly, the release date noted for the trailers is 2015. It’s a statement that does accommodate all of the regions with an impending release, if anything.

Check out the trailers below, along with AtlusUSA’s accompanying character descriptions!

Lost Dimension Poster

Lost Dimension’s “Deep Vision” Trailer

AtlusUSA uploaded a new trailer for Lost Dimension ahead of its impending North American (July 28th) and European (August 28th) releases. It’s a minute long and offers a glimpse into the Judgment process that occurs after a battle.

During the Judgment section, you’ll be able to keep track of current relationships with your compatriots as well as “mark” your assessment of their trustworthiness for future reference, essentially making a personal note for yourself. Players will be given a set amount of Vision Points that can be used for Sho’s “Deep Vision” ability, which allows him to peer into the mind of one of your teammates and hopefully glean hints as to who among the group is the traitor. Then, players will allot Sho’s votes and determine who is to be permanently erased from the journey. The game isn’t necessarily going to suggest to you whether or not you’re making the right decision once someone has been erased. Choose well!

Check out the trailer after the break.
