NIS America Will Release Persona 4 Dancing All Night in Europe This Fall

NIS America has confirmed that it will be releasing Persona 4: Dancing All Night for the PlayStation Vita in Europe this Fall. Aside from a regular physical and digital version of the game, they’ll also be releasing the “Disco Fever” EU Edition. While this edition appears to be similar to its US counterpart, not all of the items in the US version are listed in the press release from NIS America. The Teddie keychain is also listed, despite being initially noted as a “North America” exclusive. However, the DLC isn’t listed at the moment. Let’s hope we won’t see a repeat of what happened with Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, where free preorder DLC for the US and Japan versions weren’t free for the EU.

Margaret Takes the Stage in This New Persona 4: Dancing All Night Trailer

While she’s not one of the main characters or part of Yu’s Investigation Team, Margaret is still a key character in the various games based on Persona 4. In Persona 4, we learn that Margaret is Igor’s new assistant, a role previously assigned to her sister, Elizabeth. Igor is the proprietor of the Velvet Room, a place transcending dream and reality, and has been featured in every main Persona game.

Persona 4 Dancing All Night Margaret In Persona 4, Margaret guides the player on their quest and helps them maintain their Persona Compendium (which contains every Persona the player has collected). Throughout the game, we learn that she’s a soft-spoken, calm and collected individual with a professional attitude. It takes some effort on the part of the player to get to know Elizabeth, but after completing all the tasks she assigned to you, she eventually does show a less stoic side and a sense of humor not dissimilar from that of her sister Elizabeth.

In Persona 4: Dancing All Night, Margaret is only playable in the game’s Free Dance mode, and only after certain conditions are met. As with all the characters featured in the Persona 4: Dancing All Night trailers, her dancing style reflects her personality. Margaret’s dancing moves are fast, precise and almost robotic at times, Interestingly, Margaret is only shown wearing her standard blue outfit that’s standard for servants of Igor, but the video does feature Yu Narukami wearing the male version of the Velvet Room outfit. The music in the video set to a remix of the classic Velvet Room theme. You can watch the new trailer below.

Persona 4: Dancing All Night will be released in Japan on June 25, 2015, exclusively on the PlayStation Vita. The release in North America is scheduled for fall 2015.

New Persona 4: Dancing All Night Trailer featuring the Un-bear-lievable Teddie

It is time again for a new character trailer for Persona 4: Dancing All Night, introducing the “mascot”-esque Midnight Channel dweller, Teddie. He spent a majority of his time wearing a cartoon bear costume as he fought alongside Yu and the investigative team in the series. During the events of the original game he became overwhelmed by his insecurity centering around his identity, as well as his inability to remember anything about who he really is. Eventually he got his answers, after which he started using his human form when not in battle.

In Dancing All Night, Teddie’s costume is now in a disco motif. Meanwhile, he puts on a cape and crown for his human form. He dances surprisingly well for somebody in a bear suit, but he’s even more graceful outside of one. Human Teddie dances in a jovial mood and puts on a beary good show. As seen in the trailer, Teddie has a wide array of outfits you can use. Bear Teddie can dress up as a reindeer, his General “M.Bison” style suit from Persona 4 Arena and a happi (festival outfit). Human Teddie can dress in his famous “Alice” crossdressing outfit.

Persona 4: Dancing All Night – Men’s Crossdressing Outfits Trailer

It shows off Yu’s “Sukeban Style” costume, Yosuke’s “High School Girl Look” costume, and Kanji’s “Sexy Dress” costume. That silhouette at the end is meant to tease Kanji’s seaweed outfit. New Lost Dimension Character Trailer: Mana and George

The character trailers for Lost Dimension keep on coming. This time we have two characters: Mana and George.

Mana’s psychic ability is labeled “Overdrive”, which enables her to deal significant damage to enemies with simple martial arts attacks. She has more than just short-ranged tricks to help her attack; she can also create earthquakes and attack by throwing objects at her foes. Mana’s described as a lover of cute things, but she also possesses a spirited personality. She wants to take decisive action and solve problems as soon as possible. Interestingly, the voicing director seemed to give her something that resembles an English accent – probably meant to differentiate her from other characters.

George’s ability is called “Psychometry.” It’s essentially the same thing as Mana’s psychic ability in that it accelerates the power of his attacks, but his own attacks are noticeably different from Mana’s, as we see him wielding a katana in battle. It’s worth noting that George is American, so seeing the combination of hot-blooded American sword-wielder is a bit funny, but the katana is the tool through his attacks are amplified, after all. He makes liberal use of words like “justice” in his speech. With such a magnanimous and clearly heroic personality, of course this is the last person who would betray the team. Right?
