Valkyria: Azure Revolution: New Demo Gameplay Video and Story Trailer From the Tokyo Game Show
SEGA has published a new story trailer for Valkyria: Azure Revolution in conjunction with Tokyo Game Show 2016. It showcases the large cast of the game, focusing especially on Amleth and Cordelia’s separate paths. Amleth, a man whose path in the story is not straightforward, due to his involvement in the Circle of Five, seems to be portrayed as a morally ambiguous and somewhat extreme character. Then there is Ophelia of the Jutland Kingdom, who is naturally opposed to the Valkyria named Brynhildr, aligned with the Rus Empire.
There’s certainly a lot of heavy drama and political intrigue planned for this game. Watch the trailer below! in addition, someone recorded the live stream from SEGA where they played through the new demo, and uploaded it to YouTube. The new demo features a lot of changes compared to the first one, based on feedback from the fans. You can find both videos below.

Latest Media Create Sales Results Shows a Poor Debut for Project DIVA X HD, Slightly Better Sales for The King of Fighters XIV
The latest Japanese videogame sales results from Media Create have been released, and they paint a rather bleak picture for the first week of sales for Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X HD. The game entered the charts at number 8, with a total of 12.915 copies sold. While it was to be expected that the PS4 version wouldn’t do better than the PS Vita version, these sales are still worse than expected. For reference, the PS Vita version sold 69,438 copies in its first week, which in itself was already a low number for a series once capable of selling over 200,000 copies in its first week.

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X Review (PS4)
Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X is the latest game in SEGA’s Project DIVA rhythm game series, and also the first to be released on the PlayStation 4. While there’s also a PlayStation Vita version (of which I played the Japanese import), it’s the English PlayStation 4 version that I’ll be reviewing here. With Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X, SEGA made several big changes to the traditional Project DIVA formula, perhaps in an attempt to revitalize the franchise which appears to be showing some fatigue in Japan. The question is if the changes were for the better? Read on to find out my thoughts on that!

SEGA has revealed the release date for Valkyria Azure Revolution in Japan. The game will launch on January 19 for the price on PlayStation 4 (7,990 yen) and PlayStation Vita (6,990 yen). The existence of a PlayStation Vita version is actually a big surprise, as the game was initially only confirmed for PlayStation 4. For that, we’ll have to wait for the new demo, which will be playable at the Tokyo Game Show in September. The new demo will later on be made available in October on the Playstation Network for those who get a code at the Tokyo Game Show, or those who already owned a demo code for the previous demo. A new in-game screenshot, which you can view below, does show the new UI in action.
