Idea Factory International has announced that they will bring over the Playstation Vita RPG Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls to North America and Europe this Fall. If you want to catch up with information about the game, feel free to take a look at our earlier articles. Unlike previous entries of the Neptunia franchise which featured Neptune as the main character, the ones in the starring roles are now If (representing Idea Factory, and a best friend of Neptune) and SEGA Hatsumi, a new moe anthropomorphized version of our favorite video game company.

“Miracle Girls’ Festival” Live Concert Event in Japan
Last month, SEGA announced “Miracle Girls’ Festival”, a live event featuring seiyuu that voiced characters in the Playstation Vita title Miracle Girls Festival. For those who may have forgotten (it’s been some time since we’ve written about the game, and it was never localized), Miracle Girls Festival featured units of characters from ten different notable anime series.
On April 3rd, the Miracle Girls’ Festival live concert was held. It comprised of two parts: a talk session featuring games and discussion from the attending seiyuu, and a performance session featuring live singing and dancing from attending seiyuu. The talk session included an extended team-based competition wherein two teams, led by Yuka Ōtsubo and Ayaka Ohashi (well-known seiyuu in their own right), took seiyuu from each of the attending units and competed in events including a table tennis showdown, a themed posing contest, a quiz, and some showdowns in the Miracle Girls Festival game itself! That sounds fun, and quite intense. Yuka Ōtsubo’s team emerged as the victor, with a clutch victory from a showdown in playing Miracle Girls Festival that awarded one million points.
The live performance section followed after the talk and games section. Here are the performing units for this section of the unit:
- GO! GO! 575
- Sega Hard Girls
- Wake Up, Girls!
- Afilia Saga
Afilia Saga as a unit don’t perform any songs in the Miracle Girls Festival game, but were invited to attend and perform. Its members work at select maid cafes in Japan, but are still also a musical group: performing the opening theme for Hyperdimension Neptunia: The Animation and publishing albums and singles over the past several years. Also, several of the seiyuu who voice Sega Hard Girls characters performed a couple of songs as a unit! Interestingly, this is not the first time is they have come together to perform SEGA-related songs.
The setlist for the concert is below:
- Afilia Saga
- Never Say Never
- Magical☆Express☆Journey
- S・M・L☆
- Sega Hard Girls
- Geki! Teikoku Kagekidan
- SeHaGaGa Ganbachau!! (the opening theme for the SeHa Girls anime)
- Wake Up, Girls!
- 7 Girls War
- Underground Labyrinth
- Tachiagare!
- GO! GO! 575
- Kiseki Festival
- Kotoba Colorful
Check out this 4Gamer article for a large writeup of the event in Japanese, alongside a large selection of un-watermarked photos from the event.

Project DIVA X Debuts in Top Three in the Latest Media Create Sales Chart
The latest Media Create Sales chart for Japan in the week running from March 21 to 27 has been released, and SEGA’s Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X entered the chart at third place. The game sold 69,438 copies, which is admittedly a low number for a Project DIVA title on the PlayStation Vita. In comparison, Project DIVA F 2nd sold 98,628 copies on the PS Vita in its first week in Japan while Project DIVA f before it sold 159,592 copies. Being the third Project DIVA title on PlayStation Vita there wasn’t much room for improvement technically, which may partially explain the low numbers. It’s also worth noting that the game is still the best selling PS Vita game this week, outselling Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Venus (21,959 copies) by a wide margin.

SEGA of America have announced yet another SEGA game that will be localized, and it’s none other than Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X. You can find the official announcement trailer and images from the English PS Vita version below, as well as part of the official press release from SEGA containing more details about the game! Ako and Lucian DLC for Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax Ignition Released in Japan
Earlier on we talked about the new DLC for Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax Ignition, featuring Ako and Lucian from the light novel “Netoge no Yome wa Onna no Ko Janai to Omotta?”. SEGA have now made the DLC available on the Japanese PlayStation store for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, at the price of 800 yen. You can watch the release trailer below.

Dragon’s Crown, Yakuza 5, Project DIVA F and F 2nd Discounted on the US PlayStation Store
In one of our earlier articles we reported that various SEGA games are currently being discounted during Sony’s Easter Sales on the EU PlayStation Store. Now, the US PlayStation Store is getting a range of discounts of its own. Like in the EU sales, these include Yakuza 5 and the Project DIVA F games (although unlike in the EU, Project Diva f on the PS Vita isn’t being discounted).
SEGA Reveals Gameplay Footage of Project DIVA X’s “Ultimate Medley” on Extreme Difficulty
SEGA of Japan have posted a video showing a complete playthrough of Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X‘s most difficult medley (on the game’s Extreme difficulty), which you can watch below. We talked about the medley in one of our earlier articles. With no less than 1047 notes and a combination of the most difficult songs in the game, the medley is certain to give even veteran players a challenge. I only ever completed a dozen songs on Extreme in Project DIVA F 2nd, so it’s unlikely I’ll manage to complete this song on Extreme, let alone get a Perfect for it. But does it actually look challenging enough for the Project DIVA experts out there? Let us know what you think about the medley in the comments!

These of course include the Quest Mode (including medleys), but also the game’s Edit Mode and Portrait Mode. You can watch the video below. In addition, Exophase have posted the trophy list for the game. Over at NeoGAF, someone made an effort to figure out the possible conditions required to unlock the achievements.
