Sega of Japan posted a new trailer for the upcoming Nintendo 3DS compilation Sega 3D Reprint Archives: Final Stage, the third collection of classic Sega games remastered with 3D effects. The trailer is a highlight reel of the nine games included in the package as well as the opening to the collection itself. The collection includes the following games:

SEGA 3D Classics Collection Now Available in Europe
It took a while, but today the SEGA 3D Classics Collection was finally released in Europe! SEGA Europe have released a launch trailer to celebrate the occasion, along with screenshots of the various games included in the bundle. The collection includes a range of classics SEGA games, remastered to take advantage of the 3D display of the Nintendo 3DS. You can find the trailer, screenshots and more details on the games below!
SEGA Releases Final Boxart and New Screenshots for Sega 3D Reprint Archives 3: Final Stage
SEGA of Japan has released the final version of the boxart (illustrated by Ken Sugimori) for Sega 3D Reprint Archives 3: Final Stage. as well as screenshots of the final two games that were recently announced to be included in the collection: Alien Syndrome and Columns. SEGA 3D Reprint Archives 3 FINAL STAGE Announced For Japan
Famitsu recently confirmed “SEGA 3D Reprint Archives 3 Final Stage” for the Nintendo 3DS, the last of SEGA’s series of classic SEGA game compilations for the 3DS. This compilation will include After Burner II, Super Hang-On, Streets of Rage II, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Gunstar Heroes, and currently unannounced mystery title. This last game was to be decided by polling fans that filled out a survey (included with Reprint Archives 2 and Reprint Archives 1 & 2 Double Pack) asking for the most requested SEGA classic to be remastered.
SEGA 3D Classics Collection Will Be Released in Europe on November 4th
SEGA Europe has announced that the SEGA 3D Classics Collection will be released in Europe on November 4th. The collection includes a total of nine classic SEGA games (take a look below for the complete list). The recent live stream of SEGA Central featured a trailer for the game, and also revealed that the game will get a digital and physical release. Deep Silver to Publish SEGA & Atlus Titles in Europe: 7th Dragon III Code: VFD, Persona 5 and SMT IV: Apocalypse Confirmed!
In an earlier article, we speculated that Deep Silver could be a potential candidate to bring Atlus and SEGA games to Europe, following the news that they would be publishing The King of Fighters XIV. Today that became a reality as Atlus, SEGA of America and Deep Silver have announced that they have entered a publishing deal for Europe. As part of the deal, 7th Dragon III Code: VFD, Persona 5 and SMT IV: Apocalypse will be releasing in Europe with both physical and digital versions! And the deal includes other, as of yet unannounced, games as well.

SEGA 3D Classics Collection Gets Launch Trailer, Now Available in the Americas
The SEGA 3D Classics Collection has reached the Americas, and happy buyers can now experience several of SEGA’s classics games, some of which never even reached the West before. The collection offers a total of nine games, and you can find an overview of them below (taken from the press release), along with a launch trailer for the game. Localization producer Sam Mullen and SEGA of America PR manager John Hardin also held a live stream yesterday, playing some of the games in the collection. You can currently still view the archived video on Twitch.
The SEGA 3D Classics Collection (rated E10+ by the ESRB) can be found in retail stores and on the Nintendo eShop for the price of $29.99/CA$44.99. Launch Copies of the SEGA 3D Classics Collection Will Include a Retro Decal Set
SEGA have issued a press release revealing a bonus item that will be included for pre-orders and a limited number of launch copies of the SEGA 3D Classics Collection. Included with every physical launch edition of the game is a sheet containing nine SEGA logos and console stickers. Here’s an overview of them, taken from SEGA’s press release:
SEGA Announces SEGA 3D Classics Collection for the Americas!
SEGA of America has issued a press release today to announce that the SEGA 3D Classics Collection for the Nintendo 3DS will be heading to the Americas! The collection will contain the following games, which are all remastered versions of the original Master System/Genesis (Mega Drive) games:
- Power Drift
- Puyo Puyo 2
- Maze Walker
- Fantasy Zone II: The Tears of Opa-Opa
- Fantasy Zone II W
- Sonic The Hedgehog
- Thunder Blade
- Galaxy Force II
- Altered Beast
While the collection doesn’t contain all of the 3D Classics games released so far, it does include four games that hadn’t been released in the West before (Power Drift, Puyo Puyo 2, Fantasy Zone 2 and Maze Walke). There’s also good news for those who prefer owning a physical version of their games! The collection will be made available both digitally on the Nintendo eShop and physically in retail stores on April 26, 2016, for the price of $29.99/CA$44.99.
