Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls Releases June 12 on Steam

Idea Factory International has revealed the launch date for the PC version of Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls. The game, a crossover RPG between the Hyperdimension Neptunia and Sega Hard Girls franchises, will be available on June 12 via Steam (the game’s store page is already online). Compared to the original PS Vita release, the PC version of the game will feature updated graphics, with most notably a 1080P resolution. Superdimension Neptune VS SEGA Hard Girls Announced for Steam Release in Summer 2017

Idea Factory International has officially announced Superdimension Neptune VS SEGA Hard Girls for a release on Steam in Summer 2017. When the PlayStation Vita version of the game was originally released, an ESRB rating already mentioned a PC version, so this doesn’t come as too big a surprise. You can view early screenshots of the beta version below, along with the official press release. You can also find my review of the PlayStation Vita version here. Back then I noted the game struggled to maintain its 30fps framerate, a problem that I imagine the PC version should be able to fix. You can also sign up to test the beta of the PC version here!

If you’ve been following our website you’ve no doubt heard about the game and the Sega Hard Girls already, but if you haven’t you can find more information on the game on the official website, or take a look at our past articles for the game!

The Hyperdimension Neptunia series has been around for a while now, spawning plenty of games, remakes and spinoffs. In the Neptunia games, powerful goddesses called CPUs govern over their respective regions, each representing a real-life console such as the PlayStation, Wii, Xbox and even the cancelled Sega Neptune. This latest game in the series, Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls, is a crossover with the SEGA Hard Girls project, which features anthropomorphized goddesses representing SEGA’s past gaming consoles. With a similar theme, it’s easy to see that a crossover of these two projects makes sense.

Prior to playing Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls, my experience with the Hyperdimension Neptunia franchise was rather limited. That said, I did get around to playing the PC version of Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 before playing this game, so I had a good idea of what to expect. For the purpose of this review, I played through Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls, and managed to get the game’s True ending. Below, you can read my thoughts on the game based on that experience!

Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls: New Dialogue Screenshots

Idea Factory International has shared new screenshots from the dialogue sections of their upcoming English release of PS Vita RPG Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls. The dialogue in the series is one of its more unique points, with plenty of references to the current and past situation in the gaming market, as well as frequent use of meta-reference, especially with the character of Neptune (who often reminds other characters of her status as the series’ protagonist). The screenshots below should give you a good indication of what to expect from the game in that regard! Note that two images differ for the EU version, we included those as well.

Idea Factory International has released the opening movie (in both an NA and EU version) and new battle screenshots for their upcoming PlayStation Vita RPG Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls. The game is scheduled to be released in North America on October 18 and Europe on October 21, and will be available as a digital and a physical release. Idea Factory International Reveals a Limited Edition for Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls

Idea Factory International has revealed a Limited Edition release for their upcoming PS Vita game Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls. For $65, you’ll get several bonus items compared to the game’s regular release. We included the list of items included in the Limited Edition below, together with more details and images courtesy of Idea Factory International. You can find more details on IFI’s online store here, where you’ll also be able to preorder the edition starting from September 15th. Europe is also getting this same Limited Edition (but with a blue Dreamcast character), which can be preordered at http://store.iffyseurope.com, also starting from September 15th. The preorder start time is as follows:

North America: September 15 at 10am PDT
Europe*: September 15 at 12pm BST

Regarding the PS Vita skin, Idea Factory International also mentioned on Twitter that there will be a sticker that comes with the screen that fits on a PlayStation TV. Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls will be released for the PS Vita on October 18 in North America and October 21 in Europe.

Idea Factory International has issued a press release to announce the release date for the English version of their upcoming PlayStation Vita game, Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls. The game, a crossover between the Sega Hard Girls franchise and Idea Factory’s Hyperdimension Neptunia games, will be released on October 18 in North America and October 21 in Europe.
