While Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls was already confirmed for the PS Vita in the Americas and Europe, the ESRB has how updated their rating for the game with a mention of a Windows PC version. As such, it seems the game will also be released on PC, even though there’s been no official word regarding a PC release from Idea Factory International. That said, it wouldn’t exactly be a surprise if the game were to be released on PC, since several Hyperdimension Neptunia and Megadimension Neptunia games are already available on Steam. We included the recent launch trailers for the game below Continue reading

New additions compared to earlier Neptune games include the ability to jump and to activate Fever Time. The game will be released this fall in North America and the EU for the PlayStation Vita (compatible with the PlayStation TV). You can watch the EU and US trailers below!

Hyperdimension Neptunia X Sega Hard Girls Gameplay / Character Class Additional Info
A new trailer for Hyperdimension Neptunia X Sega Hard Girls Dream Fusion Special demos some basic gameplay and class changes. The first two and half minutes or so is devoted to roaming through dungeons. The remainder of the trailer covers event scenes and a short battle clip.
Additionally Gematsu reports that the official website for the game has been updated with information on changing classes. Each character in Dream Fusion Special starts with a specific character class to which the game allots a certain configuration of Special Skills. They often come in the form of passive added benefits to your enemy encounters. For example, “Impossible Evasion” which will drop your character’s HP to 1 if they are hit with an attack that would have otherwise KO’d them. Each character also has a unique set of class options available to them, and more class options become available as one progresses through the game.
Check out the trailer after the break! Dream Special Fusion is coming to Japan in just under a week!
Hyperdimension War Neptunia VS SEGA Hard Girls Trailer Shows Dialogue, Gameplay and More
After revealing the game’s opening video a few days ago, Compile Hearts has now posted the first actual trailer of Hyperdimension War Neptunia VS SEGA Hard Girls: Dream Fusion Special, giving us a good look at what we can expect from the game. Aside from introducing the main cast of characters, it also shows dialogue scenes and battle gameplay. You can view the video here:
Hyperdimension War Neptunia VS Sega Hard Girls Opening Movie

New In-Game Battle Screenshots Revealed for Hyperdimension Great War Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls: Dream Fusion Special
Compile Heart has released a few more images of Hyperdimension Great War Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls: Dream Fusion Special. Shown in the screenshots is a view on the game’s battle system, which shows graphics and overall gameplay that looks very similar to what we’ve seen from previous Neptunia games. That said, the menu on the right does suggest that there’s at least one new gameplay element compared to the previous Neptunia games, since there’s a button linked to a “Jump” command now. It’s not clear at the moment how that ability will be used in battle.
The other screenshots seem to show off some of the special attacks that can be performed by the characters. Typically known as “EXE Drive skills” in the previous Neptunia games, these attacks are accompanied by a special animation. In one of the screenshots below (and in the featured image for this article), we also get to see the first in-game screenshot of Dreamcast (the SeHa Girl character). In the other ones, we see the franchise’s usual main character Neptune, whose leaving her role as main character to IF this time around, and another returning character named Plutia. You can take a look at the new screenshots below. We also added three other screenshots which we hadn’t posted before, featuring the game’s main character IF.
Hyperdimension Great War Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls: Dream Fusion Special Launches in November
Siliconera writes that Hyperdimension Great War Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls: Dream Fusion Special will release in Japan on November 26. Not a bad time too. The game will be available in both standard (¥6,800 pre-tax) and limited (¥8,800 pre-tax) editions. Neptune VS SeHa Girls is centered around two protagonist mascot characters: IF or Iffy representing Idea Factory (bottom-left character on the featured image), and Hatsumi Sega or Segami/Segamin representing Sega (bottom-right character on the featured image.)
No word on localization as of yet. The Neptunia series has a mostly good localization record, but that might not say anything about this title’s current prospects.
By the way, I’m not sure I’ve seen a game title as long as this before. Long race horse names, long light novel names, long gamer tags and long band names, but this is something else. Kudos to all involved.

Hyperdimension War Neptunia VS Sega Hard Girls Gets Two New Screenshots
Not too long ago, we posted the first two screenshots of Hyperdimension War Neptunia VS Sega Hard Girls in our previous article about the game. The official website has now been updated with two more in-game screenshots, which you can see below. Both feature IF, the game’s main character. One of them also seems to show the library, which governs the world’s history. The library will play an important part in the game’s storyline. Tampering with the books in the library can end up rewriting history, and when IF discovers that certain books have gone missing, she sets out on a mission to retrieve them.
The game is scheduled to be released on the PlayStation Vita, but a specific release date is yet to be announced.
Hyperdimension War Neptunia VS Sega Hard Girls: First Screenshots Revealed
Compile Heart announced Hyperdimension War Neptunia vs Sega Hard Girls: Dream Fusion Special back in March. The game is a crossover RPG between the Hyperdimension Neptunia and Sega Hard Girls franchises, both of which feature moe anthropomorphized video game consoles.
