SEGA’s arcade rhtyhm game Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Arcade Future Tone will be getting an update on October 27 which will add two news songs and six modules. The two songs are Hibikase (Resonate), produced by Giga-P with lyrics from Reol and an illustration from Key, and Piano x Forte x Scandal, produced by the OSTER Project with an illustration from Kochimu. In terms of modules, new “Phantom Thief” modules will be added for Miku, Rin, KAITO and MEIKO. Two more modules are added for KAITO and MEIKO as well. SEGA has also released four wallpapers, one for each Phantom Thief module. You can find a video featuring the two songs, screenshots of the modules and the wallpapers below!

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Arcade Future Tone Adds “LOL -Lots of Laugh-” And “Hand in Hand” to Its Song Lineup
SEGA’s AM2 and the Project DIVA Arcade team have announced that they’ll be adding two more songs to Project DIVA Arcade Future Tone, namely “LOL -lots of laugh-” and “Hand in Hand”. These will be made available on August 31 in the arcades in Japan, which also happens to be Hatsune Miku’s birthday!
Project DIVA Arcade Future Tone Gets a New Song and Module
SEGA has announced that Project DIVA Arcade Future Tone will be getting one new song on Feburary 26th, namely “Ageage again” by Mitchie M. The song was also the theme song for Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2 on the Nintendo 3DS. A module to complement the song will also be added. SEGA uploaded a trailer for the song, as well as some screenshots from the module and a new wallpaper. You can find all of these below!
SEGA Releases New Project DIVA X Video to Celebrate Luka’s Birthday
To celebrate Vocaloid Luka’s birthday, SEGA of Japan have released a new gameplay video featuring two songs from Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X: “Identity” (Ai Dee), by Mitchie M and “Crimson Leaf” (Akahitoha), by Kurousa-P. They’ve also released three wallpapers of Luka, which each show her character in a different design, depending on the game she was featured in (Project DIVA X, Project DIVA Arcade Future Tone and Project Mirai). You can view the wallpapers below. You can also get smaller resolutions (usable on your smartphone) of the wallpapers on the official SEGA feat. Hatsune Miku Project website, which received a new Luka theme for the occasion.
Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X will be released on the PS Vita in Japan on March 24, 2016 followed by a release on the PS4 in Fall 2016. At this point, there’s been no word from SEGA on whether or not the game will be localized. Nonetheless, there’s still a good chance the game will be released in the West, given that Project DIVA F, Project DIVA F2nd and Project Mirai DX were all localized for the English market.
SEGA Celebrates Rin and Len’s 8th Birthday With New Project DIVA X Song Trailer and Wallpapers
To celebrate the 8th birthday of Vocaloids Kagamine Rin and Len, the SEGA feat. HATSUNE MIKU Project team released the third song trailer for Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X, which shows the following songs from the game’s PS Vita version:
- “Kunoichi demo Koi ga Shitai” (“Even Though I’m a Female Ninja I Still Want to Love”), by Mikito-P
- “Seisou Bakuretsu Boy” (“Holy Lance Explosion Boy”), by JimmyThumb-P
- “Amazing Dolce” by Hitoshizuku x Yama
- “Lost One no Goukoku” (“The Lost One’s Weeping”) by Neru.
